Review: Razer Sabertooth Xbox 360 Controller | NowGamer

Alex Evans: ''Gaming is serious business. With split-second reaction button-pressing the difference between grisly death and superlative victory, pro gamers know the a decent controller is as vital as a car to a racing driver.

The Razer Sabertooth is the pro gaming kit company’s second attempt at serving this crowd’s needs on Xbox 360 and PC, coming up with a controller that’s extremely customisable with sterling build quality to boot.''

This controller is awesome, because of the rockers underneath, you never have to take your right thumb off the thumbstick to press the face buttons. Instead using your middle fingers. This means you can do stuff like jump or reload while still looking around (for fps games that use face buttons for those actions).

as long as the build quality is better then the onza..

Accessorise to Survive: Razer Sabertooth

Like the majority of Razer’s accessories, the Sabertooth control pad is sold as a high end device. A quality peripheral stamped with the official ‘Xbox 360 Licensed Product’ mark and is billed as having numerous unique features that will not only improve your gaming abilities but also allow you to play at your peak performance for longer. These aren’t throwaway claims, and given the Sabertooth’s price, nor should they be made on a whim.

Razer Sabertooth Unboxing and Review [AnalogHype.com]

From AnalogHype.com: "I generally haven't had much luck with third party remote controllers. I've bought a few for my Playstation 3, mostly because I can't stand the triggers, but none of them have really worked out and I always end up back with the Dual Shock. On the Xbox side of things, I've always been content with with the controllers that Microsoft puts out, so I haven't really strayed from the path. Then I played Battlefield 3. There has really only been one thing in particular about the game that prompted me to consider other controller options, but that one thing has been significant enough that I find myself here today as the owner of the new Razer Sabertooth."

Razer Sabertooth Controller Review | GodisaGeek

GodisaGeek: " I won’t beat around the bush here: even without the programmable options and extra buttons, the Sabertooth would still be one of the most comfortable pads I’ve ever had the pleasure of using. From the moment you grip your hands around it, you can’t help but enjoy using it. It may well be designed for FPS-playing Pro Gamers, but the Sabertooth performs well with most types of game and the customisable features are just the icing on a very delicious cake. It’s lack of wireless connection may be a turn off for some, but that’s just the nature of third-party Xbox 360 controllers. On the bright side, it’s wired nature means you can easily use it on your PC as well."

Oh dang Razer makes controllers also didn't know that. To bad I just use a PS3 controller mainly cause it's easy to use and practically came with my PS3.

I would definitely check this out though if I didn't use the PS3 controller. Surprised Razer didn't make it wireless.

A lot of the high-end (read: expensive) controllers are wired. The MLG Pro Circuit Controller one from Mad Catz is wired too.

I own this controller, the sabertooth is the best I ever used. I have zero complaints about it other than I wish it had a little bit more customization than it acctually does. I am just mad planetside 2 doesn't accommodate game controllers very well.
