After probably months of wait, the GK110 chip is finally arriving for the consumers tomorrow with the launch of NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX Titan GPU. The GeForce GTX Titan would feature unprecedented power output with the much great power efficiency of NVIDIA’s Kepler architecture. I'm using 680s too but as the AFR workaround isn't ideal for SLI a Titan is going to replace my cards for triple screen pCars :)

SLI isn't ideal at all. I've tried it twice and sometimes you gotta play with SLI settings to get it to work semi properly if theres no Nvidia profile. I had a few games wouldn't work in sli so I had to disable SLI. I much prefer single high end GPU.

Yes they do, beginning with Crysis 3. I've already hit the 2GB cap allocated on my GTX 680 in the beta. As texture quality and assets go up, so will the need for more VRAM. Although I would say FINALLY.

Also higher resolutions like 2560x1600 and Surround/Eyefinity will benefit from more VRAM.

Powerful, but this card will not be truly utilized for a really long time. Especially when not many people will buy this card and since next gen consoles will be releasing soon.

Rendering, Oculus Rift (Virtual Reality - THIS year), Video Work, Development work.. there are many areas this card fits into.

If you only want to play Crysis 3 and BF3 then it MAY be overkill for you.

I'm buying one. Have skipped 5 Nvidia generations waiting for a single GPU card that is good enough for my needs. And only NOW has my 8800gtx (yes THAT old lol) stopped being useful (Crysis 3 won't even run on that)

It is a shame it's a bit pricey but it should be extremely future proof and last upwards of 6 years easily. That makes more sense than buying a NEW £400 GPU every 2 years as some do!

Realistically after Maxwell and then the new arch after that it would probably be time to upgrade again from Titan so 2/3 years still isn't bad if you want 'cutting edge'

It only uses 235 watt, less than a 7970! Its like a 690 but only 1 gpu. Rumors say its 115% faster than a 680 so a little better than this: http://www.hwcompare.com/12...

This thing is just....mind blowing but being a college student I cant afford that beast. I am more than content with my MSI GTX 560-Ti Hawk Edition. Maybe the end of this year or next year without a doubt I will get a newer card.....Maybe this one if I could get it at half the price.

This puppy was MADE for OCULUS RIFT (which absolutely needs 60fps minimum with VSync on X 2) It's arrived just in time for my playing and software development needs.

I will be trying to buy one of these on day of release IF they don't all sell out too fast.

Yup getting two of these bad boys to replace my dual sli 680s.. Phenomenally fast cards but lacking the needed vram for super high res/ autodesk 3d applications... the 680s I mean, because the titan's 6gb is moooooooore than enough! :)

They support quad fire to, I don't think you will have to worry for an extremely long time about upgrades though.

These cards destroy 690s because there single gpu and there going to be 85%-120% the power of a 680 with 6gb vram. If you did quadfire with them (overpowered beyond belief, yes it supports it) It would be like using 8 680s, you would have 24GB of Vram!.
