There's no denying that it's doing extremely poorly. I think Ninny fanboys need to wake up and face reality about the Wii U sales. Just like I did with the Vita.

My last bubble. Make sure I have this right - Sony moved roughly 60k hardware, Nintendo moved about 45k, and MS moved 28k.

It's pretty obvious who own EU. Hopefully things pick up for both WiiU and PSVITA, after respective price drops obviously.

The Wii U got trampled by a margin of 500 units sold? Neither one sold well this week. Simple as that.

So you are comparing the PS Vita to a console...why dont you compare the PS vita to its true competitor the 3DS, numbers do not look so good for the Vita when compared to the 3DS do they?

Why are you lot even engaging in the UK argument. These are European numbers, which include the UK. Picking out one region to prove dominance is silly and pointless. Well yeah thats normally the pattern. The PSP, Gameboy, GBA DS, 3DS all sold at a much faster rate then then pretty much all consoles bar the wii. Their sales just tend to have shorter legs then console

The Wii U isn't in compitition with the PS Vita.
Handhelds are not in the same league.

Shame to see this happening to Nintendo though, but ive said it way back that the Wii U cannot further the Wii's Succes.

I agree with the Wiiu won't out sell the Wii and I've said this since the start to. What people are forgetting though is the Wiiu has had a very good start. Its sold more consoles than the ps3 and 360 did in there 1st 3 months.

Also the core market is very small now and alto of them are waiting to see what Microsoft and Sony offer with there next console before deciding what to get.

The main market which is none the none core are are not aware what is going on in the console market and if you look at the games on the Wiiu there is not much there for them and they also don't know the difference between the two. I saw a mum trying to buy just dance for the Wii and went with a Wiiu box in HMV yesterday.

Add that to both the core and none core already having one on the last gen consoles and there has been some big name games like nfs, halo, cod ect and people will not look to spend £300 on a new console to play the a game that is out for the console they already own.

I think this time next year we will have a better picture on where Nintendo are with the Wiiu in terms of sales as support for the Wii 360 and ps3 will be coming to an end and people will be jumping into the next gen consoles.

The Wiiu will be fine and I think this time round there will not be much difference between all 3 next gen consoles in terms of sales as they will all be going for the same markets.

Look i own a Vita and i know that it isnt selling too good right now. Oh screw it, its selling horribly. But even after knowing this fact i dont compare the Vitas sales to the Wii (in europe) in order to make myself feel better so that i can deny the poor sales.

If a handheld/console is selling poorly (doesnt matter if its made by Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo) then its selling poorly no matter what you try and do to spin the sales numbers. The best thing to do in this situation is accept the sales of the consoles and play games on it despite the poor sales. This is what i do with my Vita and Nintendo fans better do the same with their Wii U.

I'm happy nintendo appear to be failing with the Wii U. I think it will really push them to compile the best software line up they can.. All I need from them now is to distil the mario brand to 2 games only. Mario Kart and 3D Mario. The rest of the time they should be offering us something completely new

It is amazing how angry and defensive people get if there is any indication that the PS3 is beating the 360 in any other country besides the U.S. If it was reversed I am certain you would not be questioning the numbers you see here.People are always yelling 'It doesn't mater.It doesn't matter'. Well you guys sure get antsy for something that doesn't matter so much.It reminded me of the people who claimed that the Wii's power didn't matter but got flustered and upset anytime anyone mentioned it.
