From what I've been hearing about this game, they'll better be free.

It's sad.... I haven't played the game yet, but the fact that the reviews are scathing, and people saying AVP 2010 is a much better game, even though 2/3rds of it isn't based on Marines.... it's just sad.

This feels worse than when the reviews for LAIR came out.

I realize IGN and other large news sites have to make their money, but it was wrong to preview this game for years, and not give people ANY inkling it was THIS bad, then on release day, leak controversy that it was outsourced to other studios.

See you in the bargain bin!

Maybe there will be a sequel if it sells well enough?

There was a lot of hate for the last M.O.H but I still picked it up and loved the single player, so I figured I would try this one out. I think the preview on Gametrailers.com is spot on except giving it a 5. I would give it a 4.5. Of course all content packs will drop before august, the game will just be another bad memory by then.

Content that should already be in the game, since it has a very short single player and only a couple maps for multiplayer. IT should be a crime to sell dlc that was obviously cut from the game like this. IT would be different if the game had alot a content from the start, but that's not the case here. This does not even consider how bad the game is on offer. I can't imagine many will buy any dlc for this game.

I should have waited.. bought the game the other day. Im a huge Aliens fan so anything Aliens ill enjoy. I just wish I wasnt so hyped for this :( AvP 2010 is more decent. This first dlc should have been included in the game, it better be free.

Going by the price of the dlc without the season pass, it would appear that there will be SP content on offer. That, or just overpriced MP maps.

Disappointed. SEGA dropped support on AvP 2010, and I wonder if they will even bother patching this game. Is the MP region locked like AvP? Anyone know?

Roundtable: Games That Should Have Received a Sequel

Too many games aren't given a second shot. We at VGU choose which games we would love to see receive a sequel.

The Saboteur - criminally underrated and a fantastic mechanic of bringing colour back to Nazi-occupied Paris.

The article lists Bulletstorm, Sleeping Dogs, and Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Can't argue with any of those really, but I would add Resident Evil Operation Racoon City and Metal Gear Survive to that list. Both terrible games from good franchises.

Bulletstorm, I actually liked the gameplay but the atrocious writing and characters made me despise the game by the end of it.

I still play AvP on PS3 to this day. That game had fun multiplayer too.
