All of that and his seating is in the worst possible location. Only room for 2 people to view the TV straight on?

Obviously a solo player despite the images :D

Toadsanime4090d ago

Yeah, it doesn't particularly look like he's designed it with too many others in mind.

If it were mine, I'd totally want it to be a social room to hangout with people in.

Or sometimes when I'm not being a slob, anyway.

danny8184090d ago

I wouldnt. I would be afraid of getting stolen. People with sticky hands out there

user39158004090d ago (Edited 4090d ago )

I agree the room set up suck, with one corner to play, but his gaming set up looks good enough for a solo gamer. Best ever? What is this guy up to or what was he smoking, when he wrote the article... Even I have a better room, with more selection, and I consider myself casual. I have seeing incredible set up for gaming, some of my friends dedicate 1 complete floor just for their rigs and are exceedingly amasing, his set up it's ok, but not impresive enough.

Oschino19074090d ago (Edited 4090d ago )

I wouldn't say his room is bad at all but I agree with you in that I feel I personally have a better set up and have seen better from friends who are straight computer nuts and have their whole apartment or floors of house dedicated to multiplayer gaming.

I wouldn't say mine is hardcore or "best" as it's for more then just gaming and I don't have near the memorabilia. Without going to much into detail my "game room" has 2 3d tv's (55" and 46"), 4 pairs of 3d glasses, 2 PS3s with 6 controllers, 2 sound systems and LAN connection ready for when it's needed/prefered.

Have an old couch, love seat, 3 folding chairs and a big recliner for me at the 55". TVs are on seperate walls so each has own area when playing solo or to prevent screen looking for competitive play. Have plenty of other seating but mostly used when having bigger get togethers or parties.

Also a big plus to have a bathroom and partial kitchen/bar with a fridge within BlueTooth Mic distance.

If I'm to be honest, I suppose I made the title to be an attention-grabber; it's probably not ACTUALLY the best gaming room ever.

WeedyOne4090d ago

Just looks like a gamestop closed and the owner brought all the stuff that didnt sell home...

Must smell like plastic in there... if they had a fire it would kill all the trees for miles...

A&W Creme Soda is the way to go! Not MTN Dew!

PS3Freak4090d ago (Edited 4090d ago )

I had no idea A&W had a cream soda. They make the best root beer by far; so it must be the best cream soda available.

I must find some.

Also, it looks like root beer in the picture, not cream soda. Liquid is too dark.

EKWB reportedly plagued with financial disarray many gaming pc's left without parts

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.

EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.

Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.

This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space

Jayz2cents a supporter of there products also has issues

As someone that has built a watercooling rig. EK is big, but there's so many numerous watercooling part companies out there. EK's stuff isn't exactly amazing quality for the price compared to others either, it's just ok. Much like Corsair. The impact would be negligible long term. For perspective the majority of my parts are XSPC, at most I use EK for my gpu waterblocks and fittings. Both easily replaceable.
