Halo, Forza, Gears.. Er, Gears and Halo. MAD EXCLUSIVES.

AngelicIceDiamond4091d ago (Edited 4091d ago )

Or

Lionheads rumored Fable-esque MMO. Black Tusks New AAA "next big thing" Ip. Gears 4, Forza 5, Alan Wake 2, Halo 5, Ryse, PGR, next gen Crack Down, Killer Instinct, Rares new project, Bungie's Destiny (timed) plus 2 more possible Ip's.

EDIT: proof Rares not "Dead" https://www.google.com/url?...

I agree I wish they were used more this gen MS dropped the ball on them.

https://www.google.com/url?...

Proof of a possible new Crack Down game. Whats also interesting is The lead designer of Ruffian games says he has 4 unannounced Ips? "Including a “third person action title” and a “multiplayer game” with mentions of CryEngine 3. 4 more unannounced Ip's that's a whopping 8 more new Ip's https://www.google.com/url?... including these.

These are interesting to say the least. MS will announce something very soon MS likes to play the quiet game.

Im 90% sure Halo, Gears, Fable IV and Forza won't be launch titles. Halo just came out last year along with Forza Horizon, I read that Fable IV won't be making launch until 14 (MS hiring new lead designer). Gears comes out in March. no way in hell they cook up another Gears Halo and Forza in years time.

So what could MS be launching late this year with the new Xbox? The much anticipated Alan Wake 2, Ryse, Rares new game, PGR. That's 4 likely candidates. Along with DOZENS of new Ip's.

omg crackdown 3? I'm fangirling right now, I would love to see that, as for Halo 5? no chance same with GOW

StreetsofRage4091d ago

This is a bad blog. I seen much better exclusive rumors than this. First time I seen Crackdown 3 on any rumors list tho'. The first one was CLASSIC, the second one was pretty good. Would be pretty awesome to play Crackdown and jumping off immensely huge next gen buildings.

Treian4091d ago (Edited 4091d ago )

Alan Wake isn't exclusive. It's on PC.

Jek_Porkins4091d ago

Only the first Gears was ever on PC, and when was the last Halo game on PC? Last I checked, 90% of PC's are running Microsoft OS anyway, so a Windows game is still a Microsoft exclusive.

Lvl_up_gamer4091d ago (Edited 4091d ago )

Only Halo game on PC was Halo 1....

Only Gears game on PC was Gears 1.

So out of 4 Gears games, the first was on PC and out of 7 Halo games, only the first Halo was on PC.

When it comes to home consoles, then it only matters what is and isn't on consoles.

It's funny how the Sony fanboys want to leave out how PC destroys the CELL and the PS3 but as soon as it comes to games on the 360, it's "oh oh bu bu bu the fist game in the series was on PC...."

Treian4091d ago

MS doesn't support PC gaming anymore. Valve does. Remedy published both the original and American Nightmare without Games for Windows Live.

TheKayle4091d ago (Edited 4091d ago )

yeah like metal gear isnt anymore exclusive final fantasy isnt anymroe a exclusive ....the last guardian and agent will enver see the light...etc etc.....we all jsut like games...but we all hates trolls like u

anyway...i can play god of war 1 & 2 on pc too..with emulator......so most of the half of the gow games....isnt an exclusives....as every ps1/ps2 games...and all the 3rd party games r on pc or xbox in better version

this forum is going every day worst...

BlueTemplar4091d ago (Edited 4091d ago )

@Lvl_up_gamer:
Only Halo game on PC was Halo 1....

Apart from Halo 2 of course, which was also on PC.

Defending MS by bringing up their piss-poor support for their other platform seems a bit odd.

I know its not exclusive because its on PC, but its only on Xbox 360 console so far. And I remember reading a while back that the. Series would never be on PS platform. I don't remeber article but I read it.

AngelicIceDiamond4091d ago (Edited 4091d ago )

Your right, its a console exclusive. PlayStation and Wii U owners can't play it so whats your point? MS released Fable II and Halo 2(shutdown) on PC Alan Wake 1 and Alan Wake American Nightmare and dozens of XBL games on PC.

Lol its not like MS has nothing to do with PC. You know it is Microsoft, who makes windows in all. and who owns those franchises (partially Alan Wake)

hazardman4091d ago

PGR5, Alan Wake, Lost Odyssey, Perfect Dark and Destiny(timed exclusive)

One Alan Wake 2 Detail Sticks Out Like a Sore Thumb

Alan Wake 2 is set in 2023, yet in Bright Falls and the Dark Place, there's a recurring element that feels somewhat anachronistic.

The thing that sticks out for me is no physical copy still

isarai30d ago (Edited 30d ago )

A haunted 4k OLED doesn't quite hit the same. Analog horror is a genre for a reason, they matry much better than digital and horror. Like which sounds better, a haunted VHS or a haunted PDF

toxic-inferno30d ago

You're spot on. Plus, having old technology is world-building. It immediately makes you question (even subconsciously) why an old television still exists there. It adds character and background in a subtle way. It is unsettling for the player, and attracts their attention in the best possible way because something about it isn't right.

Damn. I was hoping this would happen faster. Control were both fantastic, albeit flawed. Hoping for more. I know he said they are planning sequels, but its hard to get investors and publishers on board when they don't see quick returns.

Friendlygamer34d ago (Edited 34d ago )

For how much people talk about this title you would think it was a much bigger success. Popularity doesn't equal quality and vice versa tho

Are they gonna keep their head up their ass and continue with the digital only bs

Jingsing34d ago

Probably, They've always been a greedy studio to the point of making bad decisions and losing money.
