Everyone knows that the sells will spike tremendously when the games that people want come out. You cannot deny this rationally.

What are the games that people want? Secondly, when said games come out, don't you think "people" already bought the Wii U for the games "people" want and "people" are disappointed? The sales we see now are the sales of the general market. Not every Wii owner would sacrifice their children for Zelda and Mario and are thus not likely to buy the Wii U. Nintendo hit the "dead zone" where the Wii U doesn't appeal to any group anymore. Casuals have the Wii, the Nintendo hardcore are a small group and the general gamer couldn't give two shits about Mario and Zelda when there are so many better games out that meets the eye

Sony is a lot further behind in the US than MS is behind in Japan. MS lead over sony is close to 20mil in the US why their lead over MS in japan is like 7 or 8 mil. I think the question people should be asking is why do Americans like PS3 more than Japan does?

All those numbers are horrible especially after seeing the Black Friday and Christmas numbers and even those numbers were down from previous years. I realize January and February are usually bad months for the gaming industry but damn. lol

This is just the U.S. though. People who are going to buy hardware already did, so I don't really think any of these numbers are bad. They're good for 360 and Ps3.

I don't think Nintendo has rolled out its advertising yet.
WiiU will be just fine, it's Sony I'm worried about. And it has to do with Sony's health as a whole, not just hardware sales.

Nintendo's hardware sales are triple Sony's... just an observation.

The problem with the numberz is not that they are inaccurate. It is that they are made up. Even worse than rational just made up numbers they contain wild speculation on important things...

Like even though retailers are only selling 150k xboxes a month, we are supposed to believe from Microsoft numbers that retailers (in just america) are keeping a million of the things in stock, or about a 6 month supply this time of year...

Retail inventory systems simply do not work like that. No one warehouses anything anymore...
