Activision today announced that they bought the Ninja Turtles licence with three games that are currently planned

On topic: I think the game might be decent, but not good. It will be developed and released within a year and possibly rushed, with several content made into DLC.

A final fight game with the turtles?! We're you born in the late 90's?? All the old Tirtles games were final fight style (NES, SNES, and Genisis) and not even Acti has the balls to release a 2D side scroller game on a disc. If you want a final fight style Turtles game right now though, Turtles in Time HD was released on PSN and Live a few years ago

I may not be a huge fan of Activision either, but there is always hope this will turn out more like Spider-Man 2 (published by Activision as well) compared to many of their other titles. I actually doubt it will end up being open world (suits Spider-Man better) but I've still enjoyed several of Activision's comic book/cartoon inspired games (not all by any means).

Granted I'd rather the license went to another company but Activision still has several good developers with experience making games that would suit TMNT perfectly (as someone stated--Raven would be perfect and allow for 4 player coop and character switches such as Xmen/Marvel games of the past). I rather miss all those style games compared to PS2 days (arcade releases aren't the same even though a couple have been good--and PC just lacks locale multiplayer).

Just saying it isn't necessarily a bad thing if Activision gives it to the right team.

I wish rocksteady were making a tmnt game thats as dark as the comics. The new cartoon is great but the 2003 series will always be my favorite, although after the fifth season it started going downhill imo.

I just wish they would make a 2D/3D Ninja Turtle like the old classic arcade versions you would find.

Something along the line of Street Fighter x Tekken graphics I think would be super awesome, somewhat keeping the traditional 2D side scroll feel but with enhanced graphics and cool up close 3D camera attacks like in SFxTekken.

Add online and bam people would love it. I would, they need to revamp them.
