Really? I can't believe the you may be this dumb.

""So if ever there was a change of heart from the company’s part, and the reason why they delayed GTA V is because it was intended for PS4 & Xbox 720, then we should have seen it from its press release last week…right?""

They aren't allowed to mention next gen. Notice how the new star wars game wasn't announced for any platform or how Watch Dogs was only announced for this gen consoles yet it looked very much next gen. Epic games mentions Unreal Engine 4 running on systems they aren't allowed to talk about yet. Notice how there are zero next gen titles mentioned by developers.

To assume that next gen would be mentioned in Rockstar's press release before next gen has been announced imply s that you may be retarded sir.

So you're still dreaming PS4 and Xbox 720 will launch on retailers this year?

GTA V will debut on next-gen?

And you're mixing Epic Games with R* / Take-Two.

Sir, you truly are a genuine fucktard, sir.

@ninavoljic

Once again you fail.

Mark Rein of Epic Games at the DICE summit: "While talking about Unreal Engine 4 he said that the graphics engine was running on “systems I can’t talk about by name.”

http://www.computerandvideo...

I never implied Next Gen would be this year nor did I suggest GTAV would debut on Next Gen. Do you have a learning disability?

When Did I suggest Epic had anything to do with Rockstar or GTA for that matter. What I did above was give examples of how other developers aren't mentioning next gen or are very vague. There is no way in hell a company would announce a title supporting next gen right now. You're done.

@konnerbllb

What, don't crack up now silly boy.

I stopped right there when you said

"Notice how the new star wars game wasn't announced for any platform or how Watch Dogs was only announced for this gen consoles yet it looked very much next gen"

** Watch Dogs was never announced and was never confirmed on "current gen-consoles" or in any type of platforms. Epic Games was very sure of that. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...

** Likewise, it's a good candidate for next-gen platforms since the company tries to keep it mum.

** However, what you miserably fail to understand is GTA V is on a different scenario. Rockstar Games did confirm several times the platform it will be using on its debut. And if ever there was a change of plan, it will reflect on its press release since they will be lying to its investors. Case point: they have no choice but to reveal it's on next-gen for transparency and to protect their own interest. Sony & Microsoft can't do anything about that.

"There is no way in hell a company would announce a title supporting next gen right now. "

** Why would they? Next-gen console won't be arriving until 1 to 1.5 years from now on retailers. Did I say that or this is the part where your learning disability comes into play?

** Again, it appears you don't understand the real purpose of the article, that is, playing the scenario of 'what if' GTA V was revealed on next-gen consoles this year -- as some foolish analysts suggested. And if you'll read it again, you can see it's going to be a disaster on the part of R* & TTWO since not only they will be put on a position of lying to players & their investors, they will also need to confirm right now that they will release the game on next-gen or suffer the consequence of prolonging it.

** And, yes, this kind of scenario has never happened in the history of gaming; hence, proving why GTA V won't arrive on next-gen this year. This was the purpose of the article.

Next time, use your eyes on reading not your horrendous mouth.

What makes you think Rockstar Games can't post a press release that they are going to launch GTA V on next-gen before Sony & Microsoft revealed PS4 & Xbox 720 this year?

If they are already fucked up, they can do it so stock investors won't get angry against them.

Of course, this won't happen in reality and no dumb company would ever do this move. But for some analysts, like the one interviewed by CVG last week, this is very possible.

Now kid, go back to your bed and sleep.

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

CrimsonWing691d 20h ago

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

Ikr mfs that greedy it's ridiculous

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming

One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
