GTA 5 release date may be announced on February 5, says Pachter

Release date for Grand Theft Auto 5 may be announced by publisher Take-Two as part of its fiscal 2013 Q3 results on February 5, Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter has said.

In a Q3 Preview released to investors, Pachter wrote: "Grand Theft Auto V's release date remains elusive, frustrating shareholders.

Which is lackluster of well known AAA titles so it's possible for GTA V to release in April. But I'm still banking on early May since April is still close to the release of Bioshock: Infinite, another 2K published title. Hell, May seems a lot more likely since 2K games will have breathing room for sales (Aliens: Colonial Marines on February, Infinite on March and GTA V on May).

wile most of us gamers all think he has no place in it.

I cant understand why you guys still talking about FISCAL YEAR as Dan H said few nonths ago that fiscal year has nothing to GTA RELEASE DATE. Its realy anoing to read all the tine the same sh... over and over again idk how analitics work ,doesnt they read news , just write becouse they have to? About release date late march early april (they keep the date as long as they can in order to produce many game copies im sure they do not want to let things go like they did with rdr (you coulsnt buy it for few weeks after release)).

I read the headline and was brimming with excitement until the "says Pachter" part at the end.

Michael Pachter is the weatherman of the electronics/entertainment industry - more than half of what he forecasts doesnt materialize.

Pachter says R* will announce GTA5 release date Feb 5th? I don't believe this at all since he said. I wouldn't be surprised at all come Feb 5th we don't hear a peep from R* or Take Two.
