DSOGaming writes: "Capcom has released the PC version of DmC Devil May Cry and it’s time to see whether or not QLOC ported this console action title properly to our platform. The actual game is developed by Ninja Theory and – contrary to all previous Devil May Cry titles – is being built on Epic’s Unreal Engine 3. As a result of that, DmC Devil May Cry runs incredibly well, even on relatively low-spec PC systems, and looks surprisingly good."
VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Upon finally finishing Devil May Cry 5 recently - after it spent several years on my “I’ll play that soon” list - I considered giving it a fittingly-named Late Look article. However, considering that this was indeed the final piece I was missing in the DMC puzzle, I decided to instead take this opportunity to take a look back at the entirety of this genre-defining series and rank the entries. What also made this a particularly tempting notion was that while most high-profile series have developed fairly evenly over time, with a few bumps on the road, the history of Devil May Cry has, at least in my eyes, been an absolute roller coaster, with everything from total disasters to action game gold."
3,1,4,5 to me, never played 2. 5 gameplay is amazing but level design was really disappointing to me, just a bunch of plain arenas, the story felt like a worse written rehash of the 3rd and the charater models looked weird ( specially the ladies ). Another problem with 5 was that there was not enough content for 3 charaters so I could never really familiarize with any of them

God DMC2 was an awful game.
And in case this isn't obvious it goes worst to best
Order changes depending on your focus. I tend to focus on gameplay/fun factor, so...
5, 3, 1, 4, 2.
I really didn't like 4 but commend Dante's weapon diversity. The retreading of old ground was pretty unacceptable to me.
But even then... Still more enjoyable than 2 for me
Huzaifah from eXputer: "Devil May Cry 5, the latest iteration in the iconic DMC franchise by Capcom, still holds its own as a fantastic hack-and-slash in 2024."
NVIDIA continues to add games to GeForce NOW. This week, Devil May Cry 5, Gears Tactics, and The Crew Motorfest lead the charge.
It performs very nicely. The only thing I have complaints about is the texture pop-ins. It IS UE3 after all, so my complaint has no real depth to it, seeing as this is an issue with the engine(or possibly the developers); as seen on other games that use it.
even if the graphics were not insanely better on pc (which of course they are), the pc version would still be the on to get just for the fact it runs at 60 or more frames per second even on mid-range, 4 year old graphics cards
add in the lack of jaggies that plauge the last gen ps3/360 and lower texture counts and much lowers resolutions and the $10 hike in price and it begs the question, why on earth would you buy this and all other multiplats on anything but pc!
i'm not even sure if i will buy the ps4/nextbox for the first few years, they certainly won't be able to do what my pc can today
but if they have enough amazing exclusives and can at least maintain 1080p with no jaggies i'll have to bite
I'm getting A LOT Of screen tearing during the cutscenes. I have a GTX560 Ti card, i7 processor and 32GB ram. Everything in the game is maxed out. Should I disable Vsync and enable it in the Nvidia control panel?
Not bad.
I like it. Looks really good.
