Quality wise Nintendo came last in the 7th generation!

Wii Sports, Wii Fit, New Super Mario Bros.... LAME! We need more M rated games from Nintendo or its going to get buried by PS4 & 720. That's definitely not happening so Wii U will be the dreamcast of Nintendo and its ultimately its death. I personally cannot wait for the day I can play Nintendo games on my PS4 & high end PC.

Ohh and did I mention the Wii u's graphics SUCK??? The online isn't that good as well, not to mention the controller is LAME because of the positioning of the analogs. The screen on the gamepad isn't even HD so what's the point? Even a 7 year old PS3 has better processing power than Wii U not to mention there's not a single game on Wii U even close to matching the likes of Uncharted 3 and Halo 4. Monolith's new game X looks shitty to the core. Wind Waker HD is played on the gamepad which is not HD so don't let those crooks fool you! Yoshi's Yarn looks like something a 4 year old girl would enjoy. Mario Kart U will be a rehash (quick cash-in) so don't bother.

Um, what? Quality wise, I'm going to say it's a tie between Sony and Nintendo. They both have their pros and cons. Micro$oft came last place, and always will. FPS games aren't quality games, my friend.

yeah because wii sports/fit and mario bros were the only games on wii lol. not to mention, wii sports and new super mario bros were fun and entertaining.

Its ok, keep playing shooters over and over and over with a slight pixel increase every game and a false claim about better AI.

actually sales do determine first place or not, sorry. I'm not a huge COD fan, i do enjoy BLOPS2, but the industry is a business afterall. one of my favorite games, Shenmue, will never see a sequel because of sales. Its a fact. Thats why sony scrambled to make the move, microsoft with the kinect, and now they'll both end up with some sort of interconnected tablet devices. Sales matter first, we just hope that the highest quality games sell the best. Having said that, Nintendo won last generation, and is selling strong so far in this one.

First of all it's "sales" not sells. And I wasn't making a judgment on anything. @Enemy said Nintendo is only in first place regarding hardware. That is not accurate. I simply stated the facts, sorry. Besides if you want to argue quality, Nintendo also has the top three highest rated games of all time. Look it up if you don't believe me. I'm still not stating my opinion on the matter, simply stating the facts.

IMO.... I'd say it too early to tell. Just as its too early to tell if its a failed console.
But, from the looks of it, it will have more hardcore 3rd party games along with its regular kinder games. The question is will it compete when this generation is in full swing. Time will tell, and nows not the time.

I'll have to wait and see if Nintendo gets a strong 3rd party support instead of relying solely on its 1st party and 2nd party developers.
