League of Legends has been a big game on Windows for a very long time but, not on the Mac. Mac users have been left out and haven’t been able to play League of Legends but, we knew that Riot was working on a Mac version for a while now. Randomly today, Riot announced that after working on a Mac client for a while, they now have a public beta for Mac users to try out.

Do you remember the League of Legends MMORPG previously teased by Riot Games? Its development has been fully rebooted and it'll take "likely several years" before you hear any more news about it.

Okay someone please tell me what League of Legends is? I've heard so much about it and I have yet to distinguish what it is...or why it's so addictive...apparently.
