DmC: Devil May Cry runs on 30 FPS on consoles, over 200 on PC

DmC: Devil May Cry is running on 30 FPS on PS3 and Xbox 360. While on PC, on Radeon HD 7970 or a GTX 670 it will run on an average FPS on about 210 FPS. Taht's quite high, and the GTX 680 which is double as strong as the GTX 670 and the GXT 690 which is double as stong as one GTX 680 is not even listed there. People on NeoGaf thinks a GTX 680 will run the game on about 400 FPS which means a GTX 690 will run it on alot more.

I don't want to go on a rant, here, but GTX 680 not being listed makes about as much sense as Beowulf sleeping with Robert Fulton at the first battle of Antietam. I mean whenever DmC: Devil May Cry defenestrates it's like Raskolnikov filibuster deoxymonohydroxinate.

Haha, no, but apparently a lot of stuff is about twice as popular as a lot of other stuff, and that makes DmC run pretty fast. Why is it running so fast? Something about a pending jail sentence?

According to steam survey most used Nvidia grahic card from 600 series is GTX 630 at 16th place with 1,78% usage

0,16% of users use GTX 690 LOL :)

Why would you look at steam stats? the last time I updated that was back when hl2 came out. I'm sure there are a lot of people who just click cancel when that message comes up.

"...means a GTX 690 will run it on alot more."

The world "alot" is not a word. It is "a lot."

Dread4114d ago (Edited 4114d ago )

please mind your spelling, specially when you want to act as a spelling police in a commnet section of a gaming site.

I think you meant word and not ""world".

is that A LOT to ask of you.

@software

thanks,

but i am not a spelling police, just making fun of one.
anyways I was editing it as you posted.

Software_Lover4114d ago (Edited 4114d ago )

I think you meant "meant" and not "ment. "Word" and not "woed"

Software_Lover4114d ago (Edited 4114d ago )

Double Post, Sorry

kevnb4114d ago

it will probably run at console level on something like a nvida 6800.

iNMyFiN4LH0uR4114d ago (Edited 4114d ago )

Naturally a $300 graphics card has its perks. But rest assured, a stable 30 fps on a ps3 or 360 is more than enough to enjoy DmC.

kevnb4114d ago

seems to me the ps3 version cannot attain this.

Plagasx4114d ago (Edited 4114d ago )

Lol, i'll play at 60fps vsync'd anyway.. Who the hell plays at 200fps?

Completely unnecessary and does nothing but waste power.

Ranking the Devil May Cry Series

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Upon finally finishing Devil May Cry 5 recently - after it spent several years on my “I’ll play that soon” list - I considered giving it a fittingly-named Late Look article. However, considering that this was indeed the final piece I was missing in the DMC puzzle, I decided to instead take this opportunity to take a look back at the entirety of this genre-defining series and rank the entries. What also made this a particularly tempting notion was that while most high-profile series have developed fairly evenly over time, with a few bumps on the road, the history of Devil May Cry has, at least in my eyes, been an absolute roller coaster, with everything from total disasters to action game gold."

First to last for me...3,4,5,1,2.

VersusDMC4d ago

Me leaving it out should be telling of my thoughts on it. Better than 2 as a DMC game.

Still a good game though.

What a weird name, it's essentially devil may cry, devil may cry lol

Best to good for me: 3, reboot, 1, 5

2 and 4 are trash, didnt like any of them.
5 has very good gameplay variety but i hated the foes.. it is just insects the whole time. Reboot has the best foes for me

Friendlygamer4d ago

3,1,4,5 to me, never played 2. 5 gameplay is amazing but level design was really disappointing to me, just a bunch of plain arenas, the story felt like a worse written rehash of the 3rd and the charater models looked weird ( specially the ladies ). Another problem with 5 was that there was not enough content for 3 charaters so I could never really familiarize with any of them

2.
Dmc.
4.
5.
1.
3.

God DMC2 was an awful game.
And in case this isn't obvious it goes worst to best

Yui_Suzumiya4d ago

1 and DmC. The rest are unimportant.

DarXyde4d ago

Order changes depending on your focus. I tend to focus on gameplay/fun factor, so...

5, 3, 1, 4, 2.

I really didn't like 4 but commend Dante's weapon diversity. The retreading of old ground was pretty unacceptable to me.

But even then... Still more enjoyable than 2 for me

SeTTriP4d ago

This right here is my order as I thought DMC 5 was amazing and obviously 3 comes after 4 was great and 1 for the nastilgic value it holds 2 was so terrible that my local GameStop gave full refunds to people who returned it.

Huzaifah from eXputer: "Devil May Cry 5, the latest iteration in the iconic DMC franchise by Capcom, still holds its own as a fantastic hack-and-slash in 2024."
