I don't think fat women will be easiy enticed in buying another wii fit.

Wii Fit wasn't only for people that were/are overweight. Its also for those that want to stay in shape, get in shape or just work out and burn calories.

In a way, you could also say it was cost effective.

I could do press up for free, skip for free, plank for free, jog outside for free.

Compared to buying the wii/ wii fit and using my electricity to eventually throw it in the cupboard.

@TheLyonKing

Which is why I never understood why these things caught on or why people go to the gym to run. These games weren't very good for exercise anyway. It shows how good PR/advertising can be. I don't see the Wii U fit being as successful as its predecessor because the whole fitness craze has really moved to wacky dieting (anyone heard of the new fasting diet. So stupid it is unreal). People just need to get outside and do some running (walking if you have knee problems).

Some people don't have time for going to the gym or going for a run. Wii Fit is a way for people to help keep them selfs active and also can help to lose weight as its a exercise. It wont give you are work out like you would get at the gym but people trying to diet it will help.

Why are people so who have no interest in a product always the ones who come on the article and moan about it.

If you don't like something or think something is bad then why bother commenting on it. People spend far to much time moaning about things these days than they do praising there own things.

I am not going to get Wii Fit but I can see why people do and it is a good way for people to help stay healthy and to help people get healthy at all ages in there own home and when they have the free time.

Kinect is better than Wii Fit. Maybe it can't weigh you, but still. And I don't even like Kinect lol.

Edit: Also: #milking

And "Wii Fit U" seriously?! Way too many meme possibilities. Into a tux?

I disagree about Kinect, although you can burn more calories with Kinect moving your whole body there was no top quality fitness games for 360 nor the PS3 for the matter. Wii-Fit was the first game to ever manage to successfully merge fitness and gaming. I lost 6 stone in a year thanks to Wii-Fit. So I swear by the thing. I had a 360 (with Kinect) and PS3 at the time too. It's ana amazing tool and with enoguh time put into it each day Wii-Fit really works well. The only problem is the Wii-Fit board itself breaks easily. I mean that in the fact each time I stand on it, it gives differnt weight. One day it told me I was 15 1/2 stone the next 17 1/2. No way I put on 2 stone in 1 day. My sisters scales on her board also broke. They need to fix the sensor on the board.

I lost more on wii-fit than I did with my gym membership. Thats a fact.

I'm beginning to think that Nintendo is screwed with Wii U. They seem to have the impression that they can sell the same games (with a "U" added) to people all over again. I don't think that will happen just like that. The Wii became a phenomenon back in the day. People bought it in droves cause it was the cool thing to have. Afaik Wii U is nowhere near a position like that. Phenomenons tend to die down like we saw with the sales decline of the Wii in recent years. I'm affraid Wii U is not nearly "hot" enough to the general public.

I hope things go well for Wii U and Nintendo but I think that Wii was way too much of a fad for Wii U to repeat that and if Nintendo expects to sell anywhere near the amount of Wii Us as they sold Wii they might be screwed.

Kinect is better for this type of game. Nintendo needs a Kinect type device instead of the tablet.
