The Answer is simply.

Sony are full of sh*t and completely ignore the majority of their user base.

With every single PS3 exclusive they seem to go out of their way to screw over Europe.

This is the main reason i hate sony and it annoys me their exclusives are so good that i have to own their console.

I think it has something to do with regional trademarks and trade issues and taxes more than anything, you know different laws and regulations in different places. And sometimes its not worth it for the manufacturer to cut through all the red tape to try to sell it to you. You cant blame them for not selling you something that wouldnt make them money. why on earth would any company not want to sell you stuff, that would be stupid in any business. I'm sure there's a reason certian things cant be sold in some places.

I think $160 is a bit much for a Statue and hard case and stickers. I think the TR edition is only $100 but I guess because it is VERY LIMITED they hiked the price on it.

It's amazing how many games are now trending towards Special Editions in order to make a bit of extra cash. I'm not against it, at least the base price of games isn't going up, but it seems that nearly every game has a box set collectors special supremo metal case bonus comic edition now.

I'm in for special editions when they offer value. This one doesn't, at least not to the extent that the GOW: Ascension special edition does(the DLC voucher ALONE is worth the extra $20, not to mention you also get an avatar pack, statue, dynamic theme, XP bonus, soundtrack, AND special packaging).

This is one of the rare instances when you get more value from pre-ordering a regular edition at Gamestop. You get BOTH Sights and Sounds AND The Survival Pack just for pre-ordering.

The fact that Sony didn't also include the Survival pack in the special edition tells me that this will be another DLC milkage from ND, just like Uncharted 3. Expect a season pass for this one guys. I'll wait for the complete edition.

Its been happening for a while though, and we need to be careful about it. Last generation EA started doing it and their "special editions" were 60 dollars, and now thats standard price.

If special editions were flying off shelves at 70 or 80, the price might go up again because of it. Kinda like testing the waters. Luckily a lot of them don't sell, just the extremely popular ones.

The Europe Edition is not awesome. While North-America gets a fully sized steal made art book, we get a mini art book. Same thing with the comic. While North America gets a statue of Joel and Ellie we get a water bottle. While North America gets a colorful attractive steal made cover we get a black and white unattractive steal made cover.

I`m always skeptic to new games from the west and I hope this one won`t be another bad directed game; "We had no hope left. We were alone. We are the last of us." with a voice that have been used in every bay film, or better said every god damned hollywood that tries to hard to be interesting. (yes, there are many good hollywood movies, not only bad ones, I did not say that)

AI ain`t impressive, it`s pre-programmed and won`t learn from it`s mistakes so don`t go there. It`s more like how many ways will the ai react before you won`t notice that it has so many ways of acting. I`m not saying this is not well incorporated, I simply say that there are minor upgrades to it`s counter-games. This age it`s hard to be blown away. There haven`t been any revolutions, only games that it`s revolutionary is those that goes back to being hard; Demon`s Soul`s.

But just trying to be skeptic about something PS related is troll worthy on this site for a strange reason. I know someone would reply me: "Haven`t you seen the graphics??" And I would have replied if I had more bubbles: (what an embarrassing system for freedom of speech btw) "Do good graphics make good games?"

I`m not praying for the game to be bad, but I won`t sell my soul for it before I have bought it and liked it a lot. And I will certainly not let ign choose my games by their review scores or 90% of the review sites on the internet. Remember many, gave...hehe...gave....hehe...I can`t stop laughing...hehe...gave gtaiv 10/10....hAHAHAAA.

So there you have my preview for The Last of Us. If it won`t survive my critics, it`s not an epic game. Buhuu.

Naughty Dog and Sony Santa Monica studios have an incredible track record when it comes to producing quality franchises. Which is why made people are excited for this title because its a game made by Naughty dog who are the creators of beloved Playstation exclusive franchises like Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter and the Uncharted series. This game will probably be very good just like God of War Ascension. While you may dislike games produced by these two studios there are many who will enjoy them.

Your personal opinion is just your personal opinion it really doesnt mean anything. If you perceive a certain game as being terrible that game is only terrible for you and the others who dont enjoy it. However your percepcion wont make the game terrible for those who enjoy it which is something that you have to accept. For example you say that Naughty Dog are terrible developers who make bad games but my perception is that Naughty Dog are great developers who make great games. My opinion isnt changed by yours and neither your opinion has been changed by mine. This is the truth about personal tastes and opinion. Unless your a Nazi who obligates someone to change their opinion on something otherwise they meet their demise with a bullet in their heads.

After the mess that was Uncharted 3 only fools would blindly hand over their money to Naughty Dog again I'm a huge fan of them & once considered them to be the top Sony Devs and now they are on my sh*t list they have no respect for their loyal fanbase /buyers.

I will say I am really interested in this game but I'm gonna wait & see what the forums have to say about it don't intend to buy another glitch riddled broken single & Multi-player game and with every patch they simply made it worse.
