Razer Edge Pro = $1300.......Asus G75VW Thin Laptop = $1300

Asus G75Vw has a 3D screen, a GTX 670m GPU, 4 core i7 3720QM CPU all which are SUPERIOR to the Razer Edge Pro's tech spec.

You need to tell the whole story "ATi". The Asus has a 17" screen and uses SATA HDD. It does not have a touch screen and can not use the side connected controllers to make it a hand held console.

The Edge is a tablet (10" screen), it has an SSD 256 drive that boot in a few seconds and has 8 Gig of RAM. You can put it in a pouch and attach it to your belt to carry it where ever you go. The touch ability makes it more than a gaming unit, even though they are marketing it that way. Many people will buy this as a powerful tablet to run apps and windows programs. It may not be as powerful as that nice gaming Laptop, but it will run any REAL game on the market quite well, at mid range level.

This is more powerful than the surface pro, but I like the Surface Pro better. It has the 1080p screen and all the Ports (USB 3.0, HDMI, micro-SD) all on the body, with a keyboard and stylus. I see these devices as the next big thing in computing hardware. And, because there are so many partners making their own versions, we will see varied pricing, form factors and configurations that should appeal to different needs.

In short, I think these new windows 8 pro tablets, which use X86 processor (i5 and higher) will be successful and be the hot items this year. This could also hurt valve console project as it connect easily to your TV and the Razer controller are very good.

trailer not new.

250$ for the controllers is crazy.

meowthemouse4107d ago

and you probably can use any keyboard.

LackTrue4K4107d ago

how much is the table its self?! (scared to ask)

meowthemouse4107d ago

If I remember correctly:
1000$ tablet
1300$ tablet "pro" processor upgrade and 256 SDD.
100 for keyboard
100 for docking
250 for controller
70 for battery
?? for mouse

you can get a high end laptop with that amount of money. Plus its Razer.

Hell No. £621 GBP for the basic model without the extra keyboard and controllers. I guess you pay for making good specs portable.

Too bad those prices is what will turn people away.

For me it's the battery life. 1 hour of gaming is a joke! Two hours with the cradle is really disappointing.

Suped up tablets like this are only going to get cheaper and better. Battery life will be improved. It's priced WAAAY out of my stratosphere, but its still a milestone that indicates that gaming tablets are going in the right direction.

Just wait until the Tegra 4 tablets arrive :)

Letros4107d ago

Lol...

This is far beyond the capabilities of a Tegra 4

I was more thinking in the lines of "wait until Tegra 4 arrive, then the prices will be lower". Should have been more precise :D

Ranking the Devil May Cry Series

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Upon finally finishing Devil May Cry 5 recently - after it spent several years on my “I’ll play that soon” list - I considered giving it a fittingly-named Late Look article. However, considering that this was indeed the final piece I was missing in the DMC puzzle, I decided to instead take this opportunity to take a look back at the entirety of this genre-defining series and rank the entries. What also made this a particularly tempting notion was that while most high-profile series have developed fairly evenly over time, with a few bumps on the road, the history of Devil May Cry has, at least in my eyes, been an absolute roller coaster, with everything from total disasters to action game gold."
