Are you ever setting in front of your favorite gaming platform asking yourself what to play? Do you find yourself beating some of your most anticipated titles of the year in fewer than eight hours of straight playing? These are feelings all hardcore gamers experience from time to time but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a few games out there that have the capabilities of soaking up hours of their day for days on end. There are a few games/ series out there that just seem never ending. Take games like LA Noir, Sleeping Dogs or the Saints Row series for example; all these games will provide gamers with a long but fun experience. When gamers are hardcore, they tend to play for long stretches of time and the games they are playing seem to get shorter and shorter. We need to really experience games not finish them in less than a day. So what games are on our list to provide you the most playtime?

Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.
I played the heck out of every Pokémon game that has been released since the start. Once Pokémon have been able to be transferred or traded from one game to another I have spent an easy 200 hours + on each and still on the journey to legitimately collect them all; haven’t even thought about getting all of them to level 100. It will take a lifetime but that is how far I am willing to go with Pokémon.
