"Talk about an odd day. We don't normally comment on rumors, but this one seems legitimate enough to write on. A user on NeoGAF has spotted an odd discrepancy where Metal Gear Solid V receives the subtitle The Phantom Pain. And this is somewhat surprising, considering that we've believed the Phantom Pain to be a different game than MGSV. Could they be the same?"
Whether it's showcasing damage realistically or simulating fractures and conditions, these games are worth checking out.
The Metal Gear series has sold 60.2 million copies, as of September 2023.
...and yet, they couldn't give more respect and effort into the collection.
What a terrible company.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is another rollercoaster of a game in the Metal Gear Solid series. Here's what to expect and why you need to experience it.
Amazing how bad this game looks already. We keep acting like this gen doesn't feel like an update but I think we're starting to see it.
The game started really strong in that hospital, but after a couple of hours I wondered if it was even an mgs game I was playing.
After all this time and evidence this website still doesn't believe The Phantom Pain is an MGS game? About it being a subtitle, maybe.
Wow, if true then they're really pushing the franchise, 3 games in a couple of years? I can't wait to play them all!
It uses the same cover as Ground Zeroes.
3 games in a few years? Are you actually serious? KJ pump out a MGS ever3 -5 years. Not 3 in a row. And why do the dummies on the net still belive they aint the same game?
That to me looks like the guys at play asia based their information off the rumours. The image is that one that was edited by NeoGAF users. I suspect PlayAsia know as much as we do, and have just assumed.
