I honestly thought it was going to be rated M. I do own the previous two games, but I haven't played them. Apparently there is a character named Trick and an ending in Mk2 is the reason for the M rating?
I'm wondering how the sales are doing for this series... considering that all the installments have come or came to the NA region. I would think these kind of games would really only appeal to the extreme niche.

From many sources including 'VGchartz' the first game did better in the US than it did in Japan. Probably cause of NISA's promotions for the game.

The game series is very niche & for a very specific audience that find 'moe' characters & very japanese specific jokes. Very easy games to get into & very easy to platinum if you are trophy hunting.

1st game was pretty meh, though I did enjoy the settle references and cameos.

I love how the ERSB censors the words such as shit in their own commentary. The human brain is quite capable of filling the blanks. There is no point in writing the words down if it draws you at*ention w*th stars **galore***.

Basically why I think censorship is pointless in anyway shape or form

A Look Back at the Hyperdimension Neptunia Series on PlayStation Handhelds

VGChartz's Adam Cartwright: "Console wars have been around pretty much since the dawn of videogames, but the Hyperdimension Neptunia series makes light of these arguments by personifying consoles and their manufacturers as cute goddesses and has them battle it out for supremacy. It proved to be a sleeper hit for publisher Compile Heart, who after an initially shaky start with the first entry transformed the series into its most compelling franchise."

I (Robin Ek, TGG) just spotted a super sexy cosplay of Neptune from "Hyperdimension Neptunia". Yes, I think it's safe to say that Mikki Monster nailed her Neptune cosplay like a boss.
