Also, I have bought two PS3's and have been a plus subscriber for over a year. PSN ID is LordJ81 look me up if you don't believe me. Not HUGE FLAGSHIP titles like the ones above, of course they would have low sales. New IP's usually tend to have low sales at first. Why do you think Microsoft likes to churn out the same old shit year after year? GUARANTEED SALES. They don't like taking risks unlike that "other" console.

Vita got ouslod by 3ds AND DS. PS3 has no exclusives in top 10, 360 has 2. I must've hurt their feelings.

I'm going to rant for a second:

Before I start I should first mention that I own a PS3 and only a PS3...

What the f&*# is going on with PS3 game sales? I'm looking at the 2012 global software chart and it's embarrassing. The top three PS3 games aren't surprising: Black Ops 2, FIFA, and ACIII. But what's at #4? Resident Evil 6. Seriously. RE6 sold 2.2 million copies on PS3.

But wait, it gets worse. 1 million people bought RE Operation Raccoon City. Wtf people. More people bought that POS than Dishonored. Also, Borderlands 2 only sold 1.2 million copies. The sales of Borderlands 2 and Dishonored combined on PS3 are less than RE6 sales.

You know what's not on the list? 2012 1st party games. Here are some numbers (and they're bad):

Starhawk: 200,000
Twisted Metal: 600,000
LBP Karting: 400,000
PlayStation All-Stars: 380,000

Those 4 combined are less than RE6's sales.

Starhawk selling that low is pathetic. You can kiss Lightbox goodbye because of that. They fired 75% of their workforce and are making iPhone games now. iPhone games.

For the record I bought Twisted Metal, Starhawk, Borderlands 2, and Dishonored (among others this year) and haven't bought a Resident Evil game in 7 years.

Get your crap together PS3 owners.

Hope Sony ups the ante this 2013 for their handheld.

It can't afford to get burried this year as it will only make it harder to garner 3rd party support if prospector devs see the sales results after MH and Pokemon come in.

Hopefully KZM or the next rumored COD finally turns things around for the VITA... or something bigger.
