Hell Yeah!!! This song needs to be in the game.

guitarded774125d ago (Edited 4125d ago )

That's pretty cool. I mostly just listen to the talk radio in GTA games... Vice City had the best soundtrack of any game (outside dedicated music games) IMO. I hope they have an 80's station, or at least a decent rock station. If the game has a Cali vibe, they need to have an 80's rock/glam station to listen to while cruzin' the strip.

This is what's needed:

Willy Moon - Yeah Yeah

I don't know about you guys, but I'm hoping there is a radio station similar to Radio Los Santos playing some old school 90s rap.

iChii4124d ago

Isn't that a Drive OST? Goddamn, that movie has some amazing soundtracks. Amazing actors too.. *Cought*Bryan Cranston(Walter White)*Cought*

Anyways, out of all the GTA's, Vice City has the best songs. I remember I use to drive cars just to listen to the awesome songs on the game.

RyuX194124d ago

Yep that's from Drive and where does that movie take place? In LA, I'm going to be blasting the Drive OST while driving at night in Los Santos.

KingKevo4124d ago

Oh yeah, one of the guys from Daft Punk sampeling Smalltown Boy, one of the 80's best songs, is just awesome.

ajax174124d ago

Hell yeah! That song is so cool! Night driving with that song playing! So awesome!

Hope they have old songs in the game, they tried modern stuff with GTA4 and the radio stations were crap.

Vice City and SA had amazing soundtracks because of the oldies in the game

Maybe some ABBA/Buckfizz while I kill some enemies in a drive by :D

LarVanian4125d ago

They didn't even put any decent modern music in GTAIV. I really hope to hear the likes of Foo Fighters, The Killers and Muse in V. I'd love to hear a bit of Tomcraft and Fun Lovin' Criminals too.

LOL_WUT4124d ago

Foo Fighters, The Killers and Muse? Hell no! Keep that away from GTA!

Give me some Classic rock, thrash or punk.

LarVanian4124d ago (Edited 4124d ago )

Would you prefer listening to all of that underground crap on Radio Broker than the likes of Foo Fighters and Kasabian?
And even if they were in the game, you could still choose not to listen to them. I'd say that there will most likely be another class rock station in GTAV.

omi25p4124d ago (Edited 4124d ago )

Foo fighters, killers and muse are not good bands...

They should put in

Imagine Dragons
Swiss Lips
Santigold

Also GTA IV has brilliant music such as
The Rapture: No sex for ben
Greenkeepers: vagabond
Public enemy

Radiobrocker and electochoc were the best stations.

StoneyYoshi4124d ago (Edited 4124d ago )

@ omi25p

Foo Fighters and The killers are good bands. Muse not so much but really? swiss lips? No sir! Santigold maybe but i agree with Imagine dragons. The killers i think should be in GTAV but not foo fighters or muse.

I really hope they add in a dubstep station. They always have a electronic station so it makes sense.

omi25p4124d ago

dontbhating.

Swiss lips are a great indie band, Every single killers song is the same. They need a real indie radio station such like radio broker. A dubstep station would get too repetitive, even though i like dubstep they do all sound the same

StoneyYoshi4124d ago (Edited 4124d ago )

@ omi25p

Im sorry but if you think all dubstep sounds the same, then you arre listening to the wrong dubstep. What artists do you listen to?

But honestly all the ststions would get repetitive because they dont update the stations. Would be the same playlist every time on each station would just be shuffled to avoid too much repetitiveness.

Smokeeye1234124d ago

Omni, I think you provided some great stations for the station Hipster 99.1...lmao

Yukicore4124d ago

I personally liked that they found music that I haven't even heard of, it goes great in both ways, they don't have to pay much for licensing etc. and they give publicity to artists, they might even get paid to feature a song in their game, who knows...

ScubaSteve14125d ago

has long fernando martinez is in it im good

AiirJordann234125d ago

I think it would be better if you could have a station that uses the music from your ps3 and Xbox

NukaCola4124d ago (Edited 4124d ago )

This. I honestly don't remember if GTA IV does this, but I loved the "Cassette" in San Andreas on the original Xbox. I just listened to my own tunes. Always wished the consoles would do this for Fallout too. I know Xbox/PS3 do ingame music and stuff, but I like integrated game music features the best.

Cost of realistic looking movement.

Rockstar need to learn that 12 years of work and 5000 employees doesn’t account for one persons opinion on the internet…

Profchaos34d ago (Edited 34d ago )

Oh and hundreds of millions of dollars in revanue to boot.

Lots of complaints about gta ever since the hd era started and yet it's bugger than its ever been with gta vi up to 180 million trailer views alone. The next game is shaping it be be another genre defining game

MetalGearsofWar34d ago

They already learned they dont have to actually make a great game

sagapo34d ago

The controls of RDR2 felt a but cluncky indeed, but it’s not as bad as some make it out to be. At no point did I get the feeling my experience with the game was held back or ruined by the controls.
But it can never hurt to optimize them a bit, sure.

Zhipp34d ago (Edited 34d ago )

I did accidentally beat someone to death a couple times. An unfortunate mistake but besides that I didn't have any problems with the controlls

jznrpg34d ago

Red Dead Redemption felt clunky at first but I got used to it fairly quick. I thought 2 was easier to control but it could be my experience with the first game helped me out. Great games

Profchaos34d ago

I wouldn't call Rockstar games characters clunky instead they feel like they move with Weight they are not twitch controls press x to instantly snap onto cover the characters instead move like a actor would ducking behind cover they are exposed while they get there.
