10 games not named GTA 5 to get excited for in 2013

GameZone writes, "2013 is a few days away. With a new year comes a new line-up of must-have games, and boy, is 2013 filled with them. While changes to release dates will be sure to happen, as of now, there's a solid list of games that should have everyone excited. Unfortunately, I can't list Watch Dogs and Rainbow Six: Patriots among those, because who knows if those will release by the end of 2013. But even without those, there are 10 games NOT NAMED Grand Theft Auto V that every gamer should be looking forward to. The following list is in no particular order, so don't freak the f**k out."

I'd replace Tomb Raider with Beyond Two Souls or Sly Cooper. Tomb Raider just doesn't interest me especially with some of the recent announcements of the game such as she can't swim. Plus people who have played the game also haven't been impressed.

Setting yourself up for disappointment. Lara can't swim which completely disregards a huge element (water) in the game. Also the graphics don't seem very well done. Low res textures everywhere and I've seen the vegetation above the ground in some of the trailers.

10. This one is a fight between Tomb Raider and Bioshock Infinite. Neither one seems to be like a Day 1 buy, but both look alright enough to warrant a purchase.

It's their personal list. Make your own if you're all worked up over Wii U. Have you even followed the South Park game? It's looking pretty good so far... not in my top 10 of 2013, but it looks legit for a licensed game.

EDIT: Just saw your list below... it's heavily slanted toward Wii U, which is fine, just as ForgottenPhrophecy's list is slanted toward non-Nintendo console games.

I'm not interested in any game you listed. I actually don't have a Wii U, so to the best of my knowledge, I can't even get any of those games except Aliens (I could be wrong.) I am interested in Aliens, but that is nust my top 10. Rayman Legends does look fun though, I played a demo at Gamestop. South Park the Game is more than just "South park ?" because it is a full blown game that looks just like the TV show. I'm fully confident that it will be a AAA game. I bet that if South Park was coming to Wii U, you'd be interested in it.

I just bought X3TC + AP and holy crap the game is addictive. I'm looking forward to X Rebirth too especially if they'll make the menus and commands much more user friendly.

Terran Defender start and I'm not having an easy time making money. I sold my Katana but accidentally sold 2-3 weapons. Bought a Valkerie and a Baldric instead. Every time i see a destroyer just makes me want more money so i could have one for myself and kill a whole sector so i can make my base.

Unless if I missed something, Ground Zeroes wasn't announced for a release next year, and I doubt it will come out next year, especially with Revengence's release coming up (even though the two are being worked on by different teams.)

Sim City looks bad right now. I'm surprised they said it looked good. Anno 2070 looks light years better than the game and that's their main competition right now and it's holding the city building crown. They're also aiming for a casual crowd which blew up their forums since gamers are afraid that it's gonna lose depth with how the economy would work.

Anyway, didnt know there was a Lego game like that... interesting.

I blame Steam sales. The game i've been playing is called X3: Albion Prelude is always in my mind now. I even thought of buying a joystick, which will be a new one for me.

My old MAG clanmates are trying to gather up again to play MAG and some other fps games, but after playing Planetside 2, it's hard to go back. Though the in-game communication in MAG is far superior to Planetside 2, it's just a better game.

I also have a lot of indie games and also need to install all those games i managed to get beta invited into. I've been wanting to try out Path of Exile but just havent gotten around to it.

So far nothing on the PS3 has gotten hold of my attention that cant also be played on the PC... probably till the new 2013 games come out. I'm at least playing my Vita from time to time but it's usually Front Mission 3 (ps1), Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, or Tekken 6.

I'm also using my Dualshock 3 to play my PC games.

Really sick of die-hards that only rave over Rockstar games no matter their quality (some of which are lackluster, just look at the LA Noire hype last year and how quickly the game died off after it launched). People are idiots for buying a game only for some brand slapped on the box. No wonder Final Fantasy and Call of Duty games still sell millions of copies despite them sucking.

I bought L.A Noire, not just because it had Rockstar on the box, but because it was something different. It blended the NCIS/CSI games with the action adventure aspect of Mafia II. It was like Law & Order, but with better gameplay and no commercials. I enjoyed the title, because it wasn't the Rockstar title you would normally get. L.A Noire did get repetitive, but not like I had to play it in one go.

After playing the title I can't wait for Team Bondi's next game.
