My top PS3 games are God Of War 3, Uncharted 2/3, and MGS4. All tied for first place. I seriously cannot choose between those four which one I enjoyed the most. lol

1-11 should be on the list, no question about it... after that it gets a little dicey IMO. Of course LBP should be there, but Vanquish? Is it really one of the 25 best when games like Killzone 2 are missing from the list?

This would be really hard for me. The single game I have the most fun with, period, is LittleBigPlanet 2. That's solely because I play it with my wife, in-laws, and friends - the game is an absolute blast with three or more players. On the other hand, Uncharted 2 was the most fun I had with an exclusive for single player. 3 was really fun, but just didn't feel as epic as 2.

IMO, Uncharted 2's story was definitely better written. But 3's set pieces combined with it's AMAZING visuals just blew my boxers off MUCH more than anything that happened in 2. I like both equally though, just for different reasons.

Don't get me wrong, 3 was still pretty epic, but as you said the story wasn't as well-written. That threw me off more than anything. I did love its set pieces as well.

Great list! Most I've played, some I haven't and will need to pick up based on your descriptions and previous interest that I mildly had in playing them. (ie. Nier, Vanquish etc.) Thanks for the extra additions to my backlog....

I'm a little cautious of comments like that about games I've never played though. Seems like people flock to this type of comment about a different game every year and it's only even true like 5% of the time >_>

Not saying it can't happen, just saying I'm more inclined to let the best games *become* the best games, rather than have me set them on a pedestal before they're even out ^_^

Nier is one of the few multiplats that would make my list of top PS3 games. That story is so utterly amazing, though.

I agree with all except for Skyrim. Replace that with either Killzone 2 or 3. Can't believe you actually put Skyrim on that list. My god.

Lots of RPGs on that list, nice to see some love for Yakuza.

I'd have still found a spot for Killzone 2 though alongside Resistance 3 there. Not a lot of shooters can crack 90+ on meta', and the fact you can only play it on PS3 is a boon for the system. Still a great vanity game, in as far as something pretty to show newbs when they come over.

MSG4 does deserve the top spot, but the game that truly defined the PS3 (and this gen as well) was UC2. That game still is incredible and just surprised the whole industry 3 years ago. After playing UC2, I think everyone can agree that every single person just went "WOOOW".

Who can disagree for MGS4 & UC2 for No1&2, at least in that part the list was perfect, I cant say about the rest but it was fine more or less.

I feel like Demon's Souls is a better game all around. I liked the levels and atmosphere better, the weapons and characters better, the online implementation was better, and I thought the pacing was better. Dark Souls also had more frame rate problems. Dark Souls is still a fantastic game, but aside from the open world elements and the covenant system I really prefer Demon's Souls.

Castlevania,Lords of Shadow & White Knight Chronicles would definitely be in my list.
It isn't my list however.
Not a huge Fps supporter but KZ2 is/was decent material,actually excellent imo.
Demon Souls was a masterpiece, unequaled still.
Fallout NV has a place in some list....... the antithesis of 'top'
