Let’s face it, shall we? TV tie-ins are usually a load of old guff. Search your feelings, you know it to be true. However, sometimes these games offer something that’s genuinely and surprisingly fun. It’s rarer than a rainbow coloured leprechaun riding a unicorn through Atlantis
A lot of people are going to be a bit biased towards Telltale's version of the game after this year. It'll be interesting to see how Survival Instinct measures up.
Just started playing the former.
So my brother in law was one of those people who was saying that there was no way the walking dead deserved goty, now he hadn't played it, just heard it was a point and click game. I finally got him to sit down and play it from beginning to end, once he completed the game he was shock at how emotional the story was. he looked at me said you know what man, I still don't think it should have won game of the year but it really did deserve to be a contender. which is a lot coming from him because he didn't think it was worth $5 at first let alone it even being mentioned for game of the year. but you know he his a die hard AC fan so regardless of what game was up for GOTY it was ACIII for him all the way.
