Firefall from Red 5 is game with a difference; it caters for a variety of genres and disciplines within gaming. Created by seasoned developers including the team-lead for vanilla World of Warcraft and the lead-designer of Tribes 1 and 2. This is sad news, because I always felt there was great potential with this game but it never got to where it could be.
Plus this was the only game to ever use the Project Offset engine too. Project Offset never came out so getting to see what it could do was the closest we ever got because of this game.
We're rounding up some games like Firefall, a great concept that simply was not executed as well as we hoped. Maybe these other worlds will hit the spot!
I use to love MMO's but now i can't stand them. I hope they can change the grinding and make a more engaging gameplay style.

I wish they'd take more risks with story and presentation. It's just another space-marine, super soldier fighting aliens game. I mean I'm sure it plays well, but I'm jaded with games that look like this. It even has that hyper-colourful WoW / LoL thing going on, bleugh.
