Namco Bandai Games has released art and screenshots for the anime crossover game, Project Versus J.
Namco Bandai has launched a teaser site for Project Versus J, the Jump crossover game for PS3 and Vita.10 days left.
was wondering what happened to this game, hopefully they'll have a release date soon
From what I understand, they're just revealing another character (which I'm guessing will be Naruto since he was already leaked).
Though, I would be happy with more.
My hopes are actually high for a localization.
The reason being is that Namco Bandai also has the Western video game license for all three of these franchises, and then Funimation has the Western video game license for the voice acting. And for good measure, Viz Media also has the Western license on the printed side. And all three of these business seem to work together very well.
No license-localization nightmare. That's almost what killed Tatsunoko vs Capcom from crossing over the Pacific.
GamerTell's biweekly Important Importables features goes over some of the most intriguing 3DS, PS3 and Vita games coming out in Q1 and Q2 of 2013. Included in the list of games to watch are Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Disgaea Dimension 2, Project Versus J, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Phantasy Star Online 2 and more.
In order to celebrate 45 years of Shonen Jump, Namco Bandai is working a brand new anime crossover game tentatively titled Project Versus J for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Vita.
First I have heard about this but let's be honest here... none of these clowns would be able to touch the Z fighters. With that said... pointless.
Jump has an entire backlog of amazing characters and this list is only one piece, Bleach, Naruto and DBZ?
"but just a few characters from those series were revealed Tux!"
If this is a console cross over Jump game, it just has to be inline with the Jump All-stars DS game. Meaning it needs a diverse cast of characters from the many years of Jump mangas/Magazines. I'd hope it's more like smash bros, where it celebrates the many years of jump.
Give me Yusuke urameshi, Saint Seiya, Yugi-moto, Yoh (Shaman king) and Kenshiro! They just need to mimic the roster from that Jump all stars DS game to satisfy almost everyone.
Goku's Kamehameha looks badass!
Looking at that third image... The game looks crazy and I can't wait to see some videos of the game in motion on both the Vita and the PS3. The Vita more than the PS3 though.
I watch some anime but have never heard of Toriko. It must be good if its in the same league of dragonball and one piece.
Hope Naruto and Bleach gets in on this....
Localize this and i will be hyped
