Whats so bad about this game?

Once one reviewer starts the troll-bandwagon, they all hop on and try to outdo the other. I'm not a fan of CoD or shooters in general, but a 2/10 should be reserved for something that is unplayable and utterly broken. Strong personal dislike or a mismatch between value and price could net you a 5/10.

Activision deserves to have Declassified rated that way. Otherwise they will continue making half-assed unpolished games, especially portable ones just to make more money. If consumers are actually smart they will pay attention to how horrible the game is and avoid getting it.

@blitz. They deserve to have CoD rated as the average game with good MP that it is. 7/10 sort of material. What happened here is they had to gush over Black Ops 2, so they took out their hidden frustrations on an okayish Vita game (2 targets in one).

I can assure you 90% of the reviewers dislike this game simply because "it's not like Black Ops 2".

Nah I've played it and while it's not an amazing game it surely isn't a 2/10 game.

What would you give it out of 10? And why should I trust your opinion over the many, many reviewers that have gave it poor reviews?

You shouldn't trust anyones opinion other than your own. They are all irrelevant considering they are all reviewing the game on the hopes that it is equivalent to it's console counterpart.

According to reviewers: main campaign is only 4 hours, AI it's terrible to the point that enemies don't even shoot and just wait there to be killed, level design is equally terrible and the online multiplayer is supposedly full of issues and connection dropouts. And the fact that the game costs $50 while every other Vita game sells for $40 doesn't helps the case either.

Dead AI. Short missions that are basically spec ops missions. Sloppy controls. Frustrating. Nothing interesting about it.

I got it as a gift and it not that great the sp is kind if lame and the mp is kind of bare bones if you ask me
That said I wouldn't give it a 2 maybe a 5 or 6 cause it does play ok

Tbh it's awful, it barely tops PSP graphics. It has 6 story levels.. 6!! Which are literally shooting waves of enemies.

Multiplayer is OK.. but has a low player count(Vita needs full multiplayer support).

To top this, it's edge who have a habit of giving low review scores.

I'd give it a 4/10 to be honest but hey. It is pretty awful but it plays decently. I regret spending £40 on it.

2/10 should be reserved for games that are broken or unplayable which blops is definitely not the zombies mode alone should guarantee this game a decent score if he scored it a 6 then I wouldn't have doubted the review but a 2? Haters gonna hate came to mind. Don't tell me where I been I've been playing cod online since cod 2 on the 360 and I know recent games are not so great but none of them deserve a 2.

The question you should be asking yourself is just because it's cod does it deserve a 2? Cod hateing is what it is.

The funny thing is COD Blops Declassified is by far the BEST FPS on any handheld ever made. Its also still a far better game then Nihilistic first attempt at a VITA FPS in Resistance: Burning Skies, which has a lot of bugs. If these reviewers would stop comparing the game to home console FPS games then they would see what most of us that bought the game already know.

I'm not disagreeing because it is the best FPS on handheld, but still a terrible game. Its the best of the worst in my opinion. The game is lackluster and bare bones that offers the most basic watered down FPS you can play.

Its great that its a Vita title and its a step in the right direction to start, but the terrible scores are completely accurate. I mean sure, bump up the score a couple of points to a 4 or 5 if that makes people feel better, still not gonna help this title.

I think people want it to be good cause its a Vita FPS. This is not the title most people were hoping for though. They could have done so many things right with this title and completely knocked it out of the park. Yet, everything feels slapped together to meet the basic premise of calling it COD. They definitely missed the mark big time.

the butthurt vita owners here are quite sad, not every game is going to be a friggin masterpiece!

Im not sure why Blackops 2 has the same score as Farcry3 when Farcry3 is a way more superior game.Farcry3 has way more replay value then Blackops2 has.Dont get me wrong 8/10 is great but dont tell me that BO2 is even in the same category.A multiplayer cant stand on its own 2 legs for long especially when its the same thing year after year.All the other scores are fair to me and makes sense.Edge you need to start relizing theres more to games then MP.

Blops 2 gets the same score as Far Cry 3. Well that sums Edge up as a 1/10 magazine.
