Brad Webster from Capsule Computers writes:
"Lord of the Rings is a huge franchise by Warner Brothers that stretches all the way from the universally recognised and acclaimed trilogy, to countless pieces of merchandise and of course across many games that try to show off their own takes on Tolkien’s well loved universe. Guardians of Middle-Earth is one such game by developer Monolith Productions and is a tie-in to the soon to-be-released The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Is this top down multiplayer online battle arena game an in depth brawler or merely a shallow cash-in for the sure-to-be blockbuster movie? Let’s find out below."

Mythor writes: I'm not particularly good at games in the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) genre. I really like the basic idea, but for whatever reason I am decidedly average when it comes to playing them. So when I see there's yet another one coming out it typically doesn't get a second glance.
very detailed review, looks like a pretty decent looking game, i might pick this one up!
Wow, a 9/10! Nice.
Is this game that good?
I'm on the fence with this.
Although I was aware of this game I didn't have high hopes for it so didn't pay much attention to it's development. Now that it's finished it seems to be getting very good reviews, must try the demo I downloaded when I get home, might be the nice surprise I want for Christmas.
So it doesn't suck then???
