they did anouce it for ps3 and pc i played ffxiv on pc and playing alpha on pc, so far its better than the original ffxiv also brings back nostalgic feelings from ffxi to me atleast in some parts.

so far the never had shown ps3 gameplay last time they werent doing good in the original ver of ffxiv when that was cancel to work in rr of ps3 ver not long ago they said they still had some minor issues w ps3 but i do hope it shows up to it.

ffxiv rr wont be released this month or next month so the time spam they had listed b4 its already not gona reach release date toward the date they were give wich was end of december for beta for current pc user and jan the release of ps3 and pc ver of fiscal disc which wont be like that since beta wont pop till later next month or even much later.

Who needs screenshots when you can watch clips on Youtube. S-E has a channel called "FinalFantasyXIV" and they upload Alpha gameplay videos about once per week. Looks amazing.

It's pretty damn fun, I got into the alpha a few days ago and SE has made a lot of improvements and this is coming from a guy that put over 1000 hours into the old version of the game and quit when they started charging about a year ago.

Not only is the action funner than it use to be, th UI is awesome SE truly outdid themselves I. Sure some of the changes will be copied to future MMO. It's almost like they said we are going to improve everything just a little, and from what I've seen that is the case. I'm not saying its perfect but I was pessimistic about returning to XIV but after some time with the alpha I know it has a chance at being a great MMO.

I would give specifics but of course I can't with the non disclosure agreement, I just hope people will give it a try and not be turned off by how poor of a job SE did with the game the first time around.

This is pretty much the case with me as well. Downloaded it a few days ago and am having a great time. Even with the fact the content is severely limited as its still in Alpha.

Make sure to keep an eye on this for when an open beta comes out, and then final release after.

this game is shaping up well. Everything i've read and seen through dev documentaries just shows a ton of effort to "rebuild" ffxiv and let's face it that "Reborn" trailer was f****** insane.

Ok, fair enough then. In my opinion, I tend not to like F2P MMO's, as the commitment is just not there for me. I have no reason keeping me there. And while I know this seems like a lame reason, it kind of makes sense as well.

Look at it this way. Even for Non-MMO's, you spend your hard earned money on it. Anywhere from $20-100 on the product. Do you expect it to just sit on the shelf at home? No, you bought it, and will usually throw it in the system right away. And because you spent the money on it, you will usually spend enough time with it to get your monies worth.

While a F2P MMO, is a nice thing to have (and there are some very good one's out there), just don't have that attachment to them. If I spend on a game monthly, I tend to play it.
