Nintendo Life writes:
"ZombiU was a high-profile system exclusive on Wii U's launch day, grabbing a lot of headlines and even having its own hardware bundle in Europe. It's also a survival horror title that we rated rather highly here at Nintendo Life, yet it attracted a broad range of diverse critical opinions in various reviews around the web."
HPP's Josh crafts an unholy list of the Top 8 Spooky Games In Need a Sequel That Originated on Nintendo Platforms. From old to new, a gory list to dream about.
The title says the criteria was explicitly written to mention Eternal Darkness. I am happy to see House of the Dead: OVERKILL on here. With the rise of Grindhouse themes in the 2010s, (ie WET), this was one that was both entertaining and camp funny.
Would be nice to see a new Zombie game set in the UK again, some of the landmarks, old architecture and the like really fits in well with the genre.

But what Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles are on sale during the week of 23rd-29th June 2020?"
London's a fantastic city, so it's no wonder it's featured in so many games. Here are 10 of the best video game representations of England's capital.
No thank you Gamespew. Not flipping through single pages of ads.
Also speaking of London, I'm pretty pumped for BLOOD AND TRUTH on PSVR
I think the main reason for the poor reviews is reviewers simply not understanding the game. I saw a lot of the same complaints with it and they said it was too difficult and repetitive with too much "looting" which is pretty much the definition of a survival horror besides the "repetitive nature" but if you look on miiverse, all of the gamers playing zombiU seem to love it.
The game certainly isn't for everybody. It's true survival horror (horror being the operative word) - it's not "fun", there's little that's enjoyable about the game, it's an anxiety-em-up and it does that brilliantly. But if you're looking for fast paced zombie mayhem where you can eviscerate the undead with a variety of weapons you're looking in the wrong place... It's a slow, terrifying slog and you're weak and vulnerable - making the game quite niche.
Those expecting a tough, uncompromising survival horror who actually know what "tough, uncompromising survival horror" actually means won't be disappointed.
Well I'm loving it,truly is scary. It reminds me of the better days when horror games were good, just like the 1st resident evils and silent hills...
I nearly didnt buy this game because of all the negative reviews,so glad I did,one of the most unique gaming expeiriences I have had in a long time love it

That's pretty good. It is good based on the numbers. But then some people don't like it, and other people love it.
So really it's either a great game or a mediocre one, just depends on how you approach it and whether you like that style.
