The times you thought: "**** this game"

The quietest and most deadliest of rages. Those games where you just couldn't any more.

DesVader4149d ago

Whahaha. I've had plenty of those moments in games where I have to get up, walk away and go back later else I will smash all things.

PandaMcBearface4149d ago

These are games where I couldn't even go back :|

JKelloggs4149d ago

I remember breaking a many amount of PS1 controllers when I was younger. I never knew that a game was supposed to beat me...

schmoe4149d ago

very very funny, but wouldn't be as funny if it was not true

Choc_Salties4149d ago

Its almost as bad when facedesking the keyboard with muppets playing next to you in a co-op game

DesVader4149d ago

Would you be playing Dota2 by any chance?? :)

KwietStorm_BLM4149d ago

I remember playing the first Devil May Cry on Dante Must Die mode, specifically fighting Nightmare. RAGE

Robotronfiend4149d ago

Due to glitches: Naughty Bear and Rage.

Due to difficulty: X-Com (the first one), XCOM (new one on impossible setting), and Demon's Souls.

Due to being an awful game: FF13

I did finish both XCOM games, but it required periods of cooldown.

I said "F THIS GAME!" at the ending (or complete lack of one) for Final Fantasy Tactics. I still want to BBQ every chocobo I see.

The mile high thing took me ages to do. I randomly decided to have a bum day at uni and just thought **** it. Everyone has lectures I can do it by the time they get back. Several hours later I was still trying. I managed to do it in the end but there was no sense of gratitude that I had done it. More confusion that I have wasted my day doing it

PandaMcBearface4148d ago

I know all these feels. You're lucky you actually managed to complete it though. well, I mean it's all relative I suppose - I wasted a day with no result at all, not even confusion.

EKWB reportedly plagued with financial disarray many gaming pc's left without parts

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.

EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.

Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.

This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space

Remembering Medal Of Honor: The Forgotten Master Of WW2 Games

Ibrahim from eXputer: "The Medal of Honor franchise was once the crown jewel of FPS war games, later defeated by the tides of time and poor development."

banger882d ago

They tried to turn it into Call of Duty and it killed it off. They should reboot it and go back to it's roots. But they'd ruin it with online-only/multiplayer style bullshit so why bother? I have very fond memories of these games, but this series can stay dead as far as I'm concerned.

FPS_D3TH1d 2h ago

Was literally just thinking of this game the other week with the secret nut cracker mission and the shooting Bismarck dog lmao. Loved these games as a kid

I wish they’d remake warfighter

Strictly for the campaign

I have fond memories of playing the Medal of Honor Breakthrough MP Demo. It had two maps and custom servers. Living on campus, I had it downloaded on one of the PC Lab servers so I could access it on any computer at the university. Joined a clan and made friends that I still keep in touch with today.
