I turned off TR:Underworld before diving too deep... Guess I have a phobia too.

I really don't have a fear of water. That said, the very first time I jumped of a small cliff into the river(in fc3) I was greeted instantly by a crocodile trying to chomp me to bits. It really caught me off gourd and I almost jumped out of my seat.

Needless to say, I still get extremely paranoid whenever I get in the water now and just don't want to be in it. So it's instilled that fear into me, in the game at least.

I do have thalassophobia as well. I couldn't play against one of the bosses on Shadow of the colossus; that sea serpent/electric eel made me shake and shiver so nervously, I had to have someone hold me while I was trying to kill it strategically. I think I died a little when it took me deep in that murky water while trying to shake me off. The grossest encounter I have lived through in a video game.
El Lago from Resident evil 4 freaked the hell outta me too. I still have nightmarish visions of fighting these two creatures.lol

Oh man, I hated that Colossus. Huge sigh of relief when I killed it though.

You and I man, I can't even play the HD collection. The idea of it looking more realistic sends shivers down my spine. I am reluctant to play any water related Colossus, even though stabbing the hell of that flying colossus is mindless fun!

Yep you are very vulnerable in the water and that is why i try not to swim in the water and instead look for a boat.

Hey Ubi, here's a gun, don't shoot yourself in the foot.

Every industry has these issues

Some companies I’ve worked for were great and some were toxic as hell (UPS when I was a teenager was extremely toxic and I have heard it still is) It all starts at the top. They either hold people accountable , set standards and treat people with respect or the crap rolls downhill.
