I don't know why I'm surprised by this continued ambiguity. Thanks for that Pete!

Thats the same "soon" that we get for Final Fantasy Versus.

People need to chill out.

Both Hearthfire and Dawnguard are overpriced and lackluster at best. PS3 gamers really aren't missing anything.

Now, Dragonborne? That's a different matter entirely.

I totally agree that Hearthfire is stupid (imo) and Dawnguard is over-priced by alot and isn't even all that interesting.

But there is one part of Dawnguard that I WISH I had on PS3. It's the only part about that whole DLC I care about even slightly. The skill tree for the Werewolf form.

I honestly think that should just be patched into the PS3 version of the game for free as a "make-good" for all the ball-busting on getting the DLC to the PS3 fanbase. Plus it would do their company some good for their future profits from the PS side to garner some good-will from that part of the base.

"WEREWOLF TREE FOR FREE ON PS3 !!!" Sounds like a good protest slogan. lol

ginsunuva4158d ago

Yeah why do ps3 skyrim fans WANT to be ripped off?

Slugg3r4158d ago

I picked up Heartfire and Dawnguard for 50% off at Steam autum sale and I can say that 10€ is propably the amount of money Dawnguard is worth. Dawnguard really doesn't offer much for the money: some (not that good) missions, couple of dull weapons (crossbow is cool though) and uninteresting new areas. Only good thing in Dawnguard is the mentioned werewolf perk tree (and vampire). Heartfire is just pointless, they should have just included it to some bigger DLC package.
PS3 gamers should get the previous DLC for free on purchase of Dragonborn IMO, atleast for 50% off.

Not really. Dragonborn's main campaign is only 3 hours long. I beat it today.

I'm Replaying Skyrim (again), and So Should You

Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.

anast17d ago

I tried, but it's a poorly made game that insults its customers.

lucian22917d ago

nah, only mods make it decent, and even then it's bad, and this is after i modded for at least 3 years

Nittdarko17d ago

Funnily enough, I'm about to play it for the first time in VR with 1000 mods to make the game playable, as is the Bethesda way

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave17d ago (Edited 17d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
