"The Wii U is out and I have to say it has exceeded all my expectations, which should have been nearly impossible with the amount of excitement I experienced while waiting to wrap my arms around it on November 18th. While this isn’t actually a review of the system, it is a bit of interesting information that I discovered this week. The Wii U appears to have a better lineup of launch games than any console. This is clearly my opinion, but one based on research and nostalgia. I won’t start too far back, I figured Fifth Generation and on would suffice for this demonstration." -RoboAwesome.com
While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Video games are no longer just a simple past time. Today's games are evolving into true works of art. Offering intriguing narratives, cinematic setpieces, and profound messages, games can entertain us for hundreds of hours.
I never got around to mass effect - I’m skeptical that it would hold up if I were to try it now
Originally launched in 2011, El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron is coming to Nintendo Switch, so It's time to look back at the original.
Still have my ps3 copies. Bought it at launch and another one when I found it cheap and in perfect condition about 10 years ago. I wouldn’t buy it on Switch but if they made a PS5 version I would. I still have one of my PS3 Fats hooked up so good to go either way.
Id play it again on the switch. I wished my 360 version was bc but this is still a good way to play.
ok but not the best launch somehow.
That Red Steel ad is super low class and most those Wii U games he mentions are the bottom of the barrel in my opinion.
I get Sonic All Stars may very well be fun but it's just such a generic take on Sonic as it has been for years now. I can't endure anymore of that crap they throw Sonic in.
I am hedgehog who can run at the speed of light if I wanted to.. but no let's race some vehicles.. sick of all these karting games anyway.
I don't think including ports really counts either.. ZombiU definetely didn't live up the hype by any means as well.
Ports don't count, I'm sorry they just don't
In the end the best games it had was New Super Mario Bros (Basicaly Super Mario Bros Wii in HD), Zombi U and Nintendoland
Wii U = Wii revamped to finally join this generation.
The launch titles are littered with content already out on the other two HD consoles.
The exclusive lineup is weak. There is not a single Wii U game above 80 percent on metacritic that wasn not originally shipped in some other form on a previous console... Whether it be the 3DS, 360, PS3, etc.
The games may be strong, but most gamers have seen them and played them all before elsewhere.
The best launch was N64 with Mario. Even though it was just one game it provided an entirely new gaming experience, with great graphics. If Wii U had an equivalent game, I'd own a Wii U right now. Sadly, Wii Us best launch games can be had on cheaper consoles that run them better.
I think Wii U launch line up is among the worst Nintendo has ever had. The only thing worse was Virtual Boys.
There's no killer app.
