Yes, you're not observant if you think it looks exactly the same. It immediately appeared different to me from the start. Mario's 3D model will always be the same, so not much difference there. However, the animation they've given the Super Mario Wonder makes it look more like a CGI Mario animation where as the New Mario Bros game looks more like typical video game animation movements

Yeah I liked how much more emotion could be conveyed through the new style at first glance I didn't see much difference but then rewatching the trailer I'm seeing more and more animations that remind me of the Mario artwork from the manual of smb3
I hated the new super Mario bros Style. This new one seems a lot more expressive and less generic. I hope it's a good game
I prefer the 2d Mario's. Me and my girl have played them all together and mario galaxy , Mario odyssey. The 2nd player option is extremely eh

Retailers have put a few first-party Switch games from Nintendo on sale. Not only are the discounts available physically, but digitally as well.

It should have a discount as you take not only the middleman but also the costs of the disc, packaging, and distribution out of the equation. No game manual helps as well, but I guess none of the Wii U games will come with them anyways, but still a decrease overall when compared to the standard.
They could take off 10 bucks and probably make more from it than they would from the same game sold as Best Buy. Maybe 15-20 off to be equal. A guess, sure, but retailers don't sell them for free and the distribution, packaging, and storage medium costs money. Whereas bandwidth is very cheap for 6 gb's or so.
Though in fairness deluxe subscribers for the next year (can't remember exactly when it ends) will get a $5 dollar coupon or something for every $50 they spend. So I guess that's a discount on a future purchase sort of thing.
If Nintendo really wanted to up the digital download game they'd have some sales a la Steam. Even if they didn't quite do that, but halfway, it would be much better than any of their competitors offered. Even if they offered the downloaded games for $55 instead of $60, it would give Nintendo a pretty significant advantage, especially considering over the 360, it's hard to sell full games to those who don't have a 250gb or larger hard drive, which is a pretty small number overall. But the Wii U owners can have 2tb hard drives (and realistically probably 750gb-2tb's) unless they use an old one laying around. I got a 2tb drive hooked up to it. I'm perfectly ready for digital downloads of Nintendo games for the life of the cycle.
Besides the whole 'credit card' over the internet gripe is a bit asinine. No, not on the store your credit card information front. But they generally give you an OPTION of saving the card info for future use. If you don't select that, you're not going to get your credit card info stolen.
I hate to break it to people, but your card info can be stolen anywhere you use it. It doesn't happen very often, but it happens. It seems that restaurants tend to be worst since you usually allow your card out of your sight while they ring it up...and are away from you where they can take down the info.
So people should be wary but smart enough to know when your card info is safe and when it is open to be stolen. You can use your info safely online and when offline your info can still easily be stolen.
