The online numbers are much lower than MW3 and especially Black ops and MW2 numbers.

I remember playing search on MW2 every night for 2 months straight after release and there was always 50,000+ playing that one mode. In Black ops 2 there is rarely ever 10,000 in search.

BO2 is a disappointment to me... i've been playing since cod1. no more treyarch for me.

By the way Borderlands 2 is awesome. my badass rank is level 30000+ no cheats or glitchs.

Coming from experience with avid Call of Duty fans, the only reason Black Ops 2 slummed in sales compared to Modern Warfare 3 is because most of them aren't fans of Treyarch's take on the franchise. Wait a bit until the next Infinity Ward instalment comes around. Shouldn't be long now.

I've been gaming for 25 years and still to this date do not find what is so fasinating about COD. Personally they ruined COD after COD 2/3.

That's arguable, I personally feel that when MW2 came out, the series was going down-hill. It felt like a big action movie and not a game.

CoD4 was the last pinnacle of the series, but when I bought MW2, I realized it was going the same direction as other hit Activision franchises like Tony Hawks Pro Skater and Guitar Hero. The drop in sales is a sign, it's getting stale with the majority finally and it's only a matter of time before it fades away like THPS and GH.

to play than this garbage.ever since BATTLEFIELD 3 came out more and more gamers are jumping ship.most all noobies i talk to on BF3 are tired of mw and blk ops,its just a better game in EVERY area.
