The popular GTA V PC petition (started by user Mike Julliard) has finally got the desired 100,000 signatures.
Grand Theft Auto V was released on PC on the 14th of April 2015. That means the game will be nine years old in four days, and it’s still among the most-played titles on Steam. With a 24-hour peak of 145K players, it’s as popular as Baldur’s Gate 3, Apex: Legends, and Destiny 2.
Former Rockstar Games Technical Director Obbe Vermeij has finally revealed why some planes would randomly crash in GTA: San Andreas.
This fly by feature was on the cutting room floor due to the random plane crashes and it's one of those things I'm so thankful made it into the final version as these random fly by and crashes make the world seem more alive on the extremely limited PS2 hardware you needed everything you could possibly get in a open world to convey that feeling.
And accross hundreds of hours of gameplay I probably died around 3 times as a result of these fly by failures but I loved every time it happened
It made the world feel more human, and honestly kinda insane that even today with all these open world games, almost no one can capture that like R* even when compared to their ps2 games

The freedom to explore large areas, approach objectives in multiple ways, and stumble across amusing distractions will always be an excellent format for video games, but some do it better than others. The numbers it will do on console is too much, expect PC version much, much later (unfortunately).

Anyway, I just saw that petition and its filled with names like "Mike Hunt" and "Johnny Hildo." So I'm not sure if I should take it seriously.
Stuff em. Rockstar joins EA and DICE for poor consumer relation = no sales from me.
GTAV PC will launch 8 months after console version so chill out!
If not then just save that $50 for Star Citizen in 2014 cause that is gonna be.....Mind Blowing!
Besides if GTAV is just a bunch of Gopher missions like GTAIV then I don't want it anyway!
Yes, I can just picture the Rockstar executives folding under all that pressure. Before the petition it was a "no way in hell" attitude. But as the signatures climbed they started sweating and getting all nervous, and now at a 100,000 signatures they absolutely have to give in..right...
