Know, all this fanboyish behavior is silly. Becoming so encompassed in a manufactured 'war' between console makers is ridiculous. I've even been guilty of falling into its traps on occassion. Much like the old school east coast vs west coast rap war.

Preference is natural and expected, but is it neccessary to denegrate or marginalize those who have a different preference? I don't think so. They are just pieces of plastic with corporate names on them.

If this pass time of ours is to survive and thrive, I think it best if we grow up and appreciate all that contribute to gaming, and grow up. Understanding that there are no hardcore and casual gamers. Just gamers.

Hear hear :) I think it is best if we just let others enjoy their game i know i can get aggressive but i am only defending Nintendo, but the other fans have a right to like what they want though and we should be able to enjoy our games.

lol...alot of haters are just afraid of the wiiu's potential and what it means for next generation....the fact that the wiiu is ahead to stay for good...nintendo has put together a super system..only clowns cant see that...or those not really looking

I'm all for being a fan of whatever console makers product you enjoy but please people why try to convince people they are wrong? It isn't going to work! I love what I love because I lice it....not because some a hole on the.inter webs convinced me to love it.

Ignorance is the worst offender because people hate without ever trying or not even knowing why they hate it.

So you never read any review before buying the game or trying it?

Wolfbiker4164d ago

Of course I have but I know what I like....I've been sold on a game that received a lot of hate because the negatives they complained about didn't seem like negatives to me like....for example I hate open world games because they tend to lose focus on story...if a review says this game is incredibly linear (a la FFXIII) I say HELL YEAH! Because I like linearity I want to experience the writers and directors visions not use X character to complete these tasks and save the world....I want to know what this character feels and how they respond to their surroundings. Sure FFXIII took it a little too extreme with the shoestring maps but FFX was perfect to me. It kept its focus without making it seem too restricting.

EKWB reportedly plagued with financial disarray many gaming pc's left without parts

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.

EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.

Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.

This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space

Jayz2cents a supporter of there products also has issues

As someone that has built a watercooling rig. EK is big, but there's so many numerous watercooling part companies out there. EK's stuff isn't exactly amazing quality for the price compared to others either, it's just ok. Much like Corsair. The impact would be negligible long term. For perspective the majority of my parts are XSPC, at most I use EK for my gpu waterblocks and fittings. Both easily replaceable.
