Rivalries are fun. What do you think has been this industry's most defining rivalry? Is it Sony vs. Microsoft or Nintendo vs. Sega in the old days?
Get the scoop on Comedy Central's exciting new cartoon show inspired by the iconic Golden Axe video game
Golden Axe is a great game I enjoyed it on the SMS, Genesis and in the arcade. Great game but it truly was a quarter eater back in the day. I wish Sega could get the rights to the arcade port of Moonwalker another great arcade game I enjoyed. Collect so many monkeys and become Robo Michael lol.

Toyohashi, Japan is set to host a large-scale Monster Hunter event to celebrate the franchise's 20th anniversary, complete with themed hotel accommodations.
This gen yes. Last gen no. Nintendo's approach to gaming this gen has differentiated them from their competitors in a big way. For core gaming, I've stuck to PS3 and Xbox, mainly PS3, they are the most similar products to me in who they attract, although the xbox seems to attract more casuals.
It bothers me why people care about rivalries. They're ONLY videogames; they're supposed to entertain you. Sony and Microsoft are corporations that care very little about you and ultimately solely about profits but go on ahead and keep on running around waving their banners with pride.
Just enjoy your games. The more close-minded you are about platforms the more videogaming experiences you'll miss.
mine are friends and both are jealous because Ive been spending more time with VITA then them.
Super Nintendo vs Sega Genesis was a great rivalry from what I know.
I bought both consoles, and I own both consoles today. Being a fan of one system doesn't make any sense to me, your missing out on to many good games owning just one.
