Im sorry, but AC3 was sh!t, it was actually (in my opinion) the worst in the series, it has nothing to do with political side of it so dont throw that at me, it was just boring, and jittery, it wasnt a very smooth game at all

Cant comment on Far Cry 3, ill buy it after im done with Hitman (which I am actually enjoying to my surprise)

And if Sleeping Dogs, oops, Watch Dogs is on the PS4 ill buy it for sure, it looks awesome, im not interested in playing it on the PS3, it wont look nowhere near as good as what was shown

this is why i love AC3:

1. they've done away with the s****y racing "missions", which i've always hated.

2. they've virtually done away with the s****y RTS/tower defense nonsense, which is a game genre i can't stand.

3. they've improved the free running controls (i've had almost no problems with the character jumping off in a completely different direction than where i was aiming).

4. i'm a sucker for anything during that historical period.

5. the naval missions are really quite good.

6. there's none of those garbage desmond FPS levels.

and sorry, buddy, but assassin's creed has always been jittery, and given the period in history that it's based in, how can you not avoid the politics of the time?

my only complaint for the game, so far, is that i also hate any game that involves some kind of micro management. i can handle the assassin jobs no problem, but i don't like all of that crafting/trading nonsense. just let me spruce up the homestead like assbro, and allow me to make money by buying/improving the various businesses.

@hellsvacancy

opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, yours is just crusty and rancid.

Ubi, please fix the glitch that kills save files in ACIII: Liberation. That game is baller as hell but the corruption is really ruining the game for me.

as much as I hate ubisoft pc drm thay are really innovative in terms of bringing out new types of games and I applaud them for that.

bubblebeam4169d ago

Yes but once they brought out new games they milked them. Think Rianbow six, Ghost Recon, Pop, Assassin's Creed etc.

I love Assassin's Creed, but I'm worried they are milking it into the ground. They want to stick to their yearly release cycle, which if they didn't they could have fixed a lot of the bugs in AC3.

They said "why not" when asked if they were going to bring out yearly AC releases. It really worries me, as a fan.

Cue the Metal Gear theme song.

pompombrum4169d ago

Yeah watch dogs is still to come.. I hope it's released next year regardless of platform.

NYC_Gamer4169d ago

I'm only looking forward to Watch Dogs from Ubi

Hanzala from eXputer: "With Ubisoft's practices becoming increasingly anti-consumer lately, the destruction of The Sands of Time Remake looks almost inevitable."

Hey Ubi, here's a gun, don't shoot yourself in the foot.

At this point, only dummies have any hope left for Ubi-junk games.

Every industry has these issues

Some companies I’ve worked for were great and some were toxic as hell (UPS when I was a teenager was extremely toxic and I have heard it still is) It all starts at the top. They either hold people accountable , set standards and treat people with respect or the crap rolls downhill.
