Black Ops 2 PS3 Connection Problems: Treyarch 'Investigating' With Sony

Or just COD games in general. I remember it took almost a month for online to become stable with MW2 in my region, and my buddies experienced the same thing. From that point on, I never bothered with another COD title at launch because they always needed time to get the multiplayer sorted out. We hear these type of stories all the time, and how could we not? No matter how well you test your online, you suddenly throw a million people online all at once and you're bound to run into problems. With something as complicated as the multiplayer in these games, I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often. Remember back in 2007 when the amount of players on XBL over the holidays made connecting spotty for almost a month in some regions? It happens.

I knew this would happen I said it months before it came out ps3 version will be unplayable and 3 months down the line after release expect it to be on par with the Xbox version after the 200th patch.

if you are getting lag its prob not the games fault , my game is completely lag free i occasionally get kicked once every 10 matches or so but thats about it

one guy on this site even stated microsoft paid activision to make cod better on the 360 think about all the issues we ps3 users always face. i actually miss how gaming was when i was a kid....oh what fun it was to play my sega genesis

I experienced my first freeze today. Never had I had a problem with a COD game on PS3, this is a first for me. FIX IT.

Treyarch attempted to implement a no rage quit feature. This being where you rage quit a lobby,you can't connect to a match for 5 minutes. Although it seems that even a mere failed host migration will get you out for 5 minutes. They have missed their mark by any leaving from a game will result in a frozen account,completely unable to connect to multiplayer public matches. Although it is found that league play is still very much still in tact.

Played MP and Zombies today, had no problems with Zombies but MP hard froze my PS3 4 times resulting in the 'rebuilding of database' screen each time. Just gonna stick with zombies for the time being.

P.S anyone else get the brightness, screen size etc every time they load the game?
