brish4173d ago

I like the youtube comments:

"At least they sent you a good game."

"Disc 1 is the wrong one, obviously."

jony_dols4173d ago

It's made even funnier by the fact that ME2 isn't even an Activision published game!

This one is good :

"Luckily you now have a campaign to play."

Epic WIN for EA!!!! EA game in Activision game.

They Probrably Thought, God Damn The Second disk Looks and Plays amazing finally They Changed something since COD4.. Sells First Disk to Little 10 Year old Kid for a Discount $54.99 it Would Have Been Epic if they Had Battlefield 3 on the First Disk .Chinese Trolls r da bestest

PS-ADDICT4173d ago (Edited 4173d ago )

Made Me Think Of THIS^

crxss4173d ago

LMAO this is awesome. this has to go down as one of the biggest eff ups ever.

jadenkorri4172d ago

the blame is def understandable towards treyarch, but its the manufacturer who's at fault. Sucks thou for those who got on midnight release, not being able to play it right away.

At least it wasn't Black ops 3 then we would see Mass Effect 3 ghost child pop up laughing at you.

badz1494173d ago

funny how it totally happened as both games are not even released closely to each other

STONEY44173d ago (Edited 4173d ago )

What's funnier is that the Mass Effect 2 disc actually has the Black Ops 2 disc art printed on it. It looks exactly like the correct disc, until you put it in your PC. MAJOR screw up.

The Aim assist is toned WAY back in black ops 2.. It's a lot more challenging.

FamilyGuy4173d ago

This is crazy, how does something like this even happen o.O?

OhMyGandhi4173d ago (Edited 4173d ago )

I'll never forget buying a brand new copy of Need For Speed: Most Wanted for 360 (the 2005 version) at a Walmart BRAND NEW, getting home, ripping off the plastic and the stickers, and upon opening the case itself, saw a "AOL 500 hours free" disc.
I had a bitch of a time trying to explain the situation with customer service....

showtimefolks4172d ago

with this happening along with some of xbox360 gamers buying lego lords of the rings and getting the demo disk, 2 huge screw ups at launch lol

Lol @ that picture

This is crazy, wonder how this happened. With such a big game aswell

SilentNegotiator4173d ago (Edited 4173d ago )

Maybe if the 2 biggest publishers actually OWNED their own plants, screw ups like this wouldn't happen.

TitanUp4173d ago

well all pc versions uses valves steam so type in serial, game is activated on steam and from that point you should be able to download the game.

vitullo314173d ago

Steam saved me from extreme frustration because of this thank god for steam

BlaqMagiq244173d ago

Wow them PC owners are gonna get a shock when they open that box.

Norrison4173d ago

Nope, steam downloads the rest, even though that was an epic fail

Moentjers4172d ago

Well, lots of funny arguments but imagine this happening with a multi-disc XBox360 game, N4G would look like a warzone right now.

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave12d ago (Edited 12d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
