DmC: Devil May Cry DLC Is Not on the Game Disc and Will Be Free

Sony, EA and Ubisoft, Activision all have block buster gamers releasing and there games have had 4 or more DLC announced months before their games launched.

Assassin's Creed 3, PSABR, Far Cry 3, Medal of Honor, black Ops 2.

as these DLC that you're complaining about are also Pre order DLCs you're bashing this game and calling it a problem because it has Pre order DLC who doesnt do DLC pre order incentives to help entice people to buy a product?

InFamous 2's DLC came far after release and was kept a secret. GOW didn't have any real DLC other than costumes whih were released much later

Uncharted 3 had the season pass thing set up for future DLCs but there wasn't any release day DLC and I don't think Uncharted 2 did either beacuse for one, that was a new MP experience and they had to see if people liked it before they decided to make DLC

Starhawks DLC is all free

KZ3 had preorder DLC for maps from KZ2

KZ2 did not have day 1 DLC or DLC at all until much later into release

If you download content for a game its called DLC! no if ands or buts about it. Infamous 2 had several DLC that was announced months before as pre order incentives giving weapons, power ups and up grades and skinds, which were eventually given months later its released as well. Your point is moot on the issue. Starhawks DLC maybe all free, but they also had Pre order DLC which was the point of the article and you had to preorder to receive it ahead of everyone.

and Once again, my point was to illustrate that the bashing of capcom for DLC preorder bonuses is not exclusive to them, as Many Developers and publishers do it so bashing them is really moot if you choose to ignore it from other publishers which it seems everyone here is conveniently doing because its capcom. MS has done this for Forza, halo and Fable and Gears.

This isnt extra weapons or early power ups. We are talking about an iconic franchise character being playable, and possibly new missions, being annouced months before the games release. If rockstar had announced "The lost and tha damned", and "the ballad of gay Tony" months before launch, GTA fans would be just as pissed.

Besides, you assume (like many others, including NT) that the problem with DmC is nothing more than the new look, when actually, the gameplay looks slow, easy, and generally worse than the previous games.

Activision's Business practices have proven to any educated gamer that the General Public is full of blind idiots who think COD is the best series ever when it's not.
