Assassin’s Creed III Liberation Review [GameRevolution]

GR: Aveline de Grandpré is the focus of Abstergo's Animus software, a piece of entertainment used to transplant you centuries in the past. While Liberation certainly looks like an Assassin's Creed game, can it keep up with the catlike Connor and the Revolutionary War setting?

I've been playing it off and on for a few days now and I'm definitely more engaged with AC3 on consoles.

Well obviously. Assassin's Creed 3 is on a home console and has so much more to work with. They're able to put a huge open world, better graphics, more side missions, and so on. They're able to create a more interactive world easily. It also helps that they've done it 4 times before too. Liberation is the first of it's kind on the Vita. It'll improve as the series continues (if it does).

That's a bummer, this was one of the games I was looking forward to. I might still pick it up anyways, we'll see. I've liked some of the other games that have gotten mixed reviews too.

It's not terrible, and I think it's even more difficult to play it AFTER playing Assassin's Creed III. It's definitely a technical marvel, at least, but not the best game out there.

Should have come out before ACIII

knifefight4177d ago

They should load up AC3 with commercials for this game so that people can stop playing it and do this one first.

alexcosborn4178d ago

Too bad it's not the killer-app the Vita desperately needs.

TrendyGamers4178d ago

I'll most likely pick this one up when it goes on sale and I have some time to play it.

ftwrthtx4178d ago

I was really hoping this game would be a great Vita title. I guess I'll skip it.

Loved his English accent. But as an assassin, he was an out n out pirate.

FlexLuger3099d ago (Edited 3099d ago )

Ezio! Plus leonardo davinci made all his fancy killing gear. Nuff said.

EDIT: And Ezio was the best dressed too. They nailed that italian flair with his outfit. Most stylish assisn too, then!

GigawattConduit3099d ago

Man, I would love a film of Ezio and da Vinci together, just on adventures. They're the perfect duo.

guitarded773099d ago

Ezio is the bestest assassinz. The other characters don't even compare. Conner was the worst.

PerfidiousSinn3099d ago

Ezio has a half-cape. He wins by default.

GigawattConduit3099d ago

The secret to the awesomeness of the Assassins has finally been revealed!

Relientk773099d ago (Edited 3099d ago )

Ezio

Hands down and he has the coolest full name

Ezio Auditore da Firenze

GigawattConduit3099d ago

Pretty sure that's Italian for "I'M THE BEST AND I CONQUER ALL OF YOU"

Heyxyz3099d ago

Best: Ezio!

Worst: The one from Unity (he was so bad I forgot his name).

GigawattConduit3099d ago

Hey, he wasn't that bland! His name was Brad, jeez.

Castlevania3099d ago

Arno. He was kinda bland (or so people say).

Mystogan3099d ago

Nah the worst was Ratuhnkahetun AKA Connor.

Dark_Overlord3099d ago

Totally agree, I hate AC3 due to him. How could they create such an unlikable character :/ I preferred Haytham to him.
