Assassin’s Creed III Liberation Review [GameRevolution]

GR: Aveline de Grandpré is the focus of Abstergo's Animus software, a piece of entertainment used to transplant you centuries in the past. While Liberation certainly looks like an Assassin's Creed game, can it keep up with the catlike Connor and the Revolutionary War setting?

I've been playing it off and on for a few days now and I'm definitely more engaged with AC3 on consoles.

Well obviously. Assassin's Creed 3 is on a home console and has so much more to work with. They're able to put a huge open world, better graphics, more side missions, and so on. They're able to create a more interactive world easily. It also helps that they've done it 4 times before too. Liberation is the first of it's kind on the Vita. It'll improve as the series continues (if it does).

That's a bummer, this was one of the games I was looking forward to. I might still pick it up anyways, we'll see. I've liked some of the other games that have gotten mixed reviews too.

It's not terrible, and I think it's even more difficult to play it AFTER playing Assassin's Creed III. It's definitely a technical marvel, at least, but not the best game out there.

They should load up AC3 with commercials for this game so that people can stop playing it and do this one first.

Bought it for the story, but I agree it's tough to play it after playing AC3. It's definitely not a bad game, though!

People saying its not a great vita title need to play it! This game is great, visually and gameplay wise. Only thing I wish it had was more depth like AC3 and the online from AC3. Thats it.

I guess too many people were hyping this game up as the killer title the Vita needed. I looks to be a good game but not a game changer for the Vita. I honestly thought LBP Vita was the game to really put the Vita on the map but it came and went and did little to shift units.

Agreed. I love the game and played it almost religiously before I got AC3 on console. I even played it more than Ragnarok Odyssey which had at least 99% of my hype for the Vita, even now AC3:L is still sitting inside my vita just screaming at me to finish it.

I only started the game to the title stage. Going to play it after AC3.
