I think they said there will be some unlockables you have to earn online , though. Hopefully those aren't too tough to achieve.

@LegitDavid Not every game has hidden trophies. There's plenty that don't. The trophies already add up to 1185 points by the way which is standard for retail games. The only way there will be more if DLC is added in the future.

In fairness, the majority of games could be platinum'd in a day - a day is a long time.

24 hours, that or 12 or 10 hours that still alot of time than again i spent about 16 hours straight on skyrim and all i achieved was every whiterun quest, the companions guild quest, the riverwood quests, so it took me around 16 hours just to complete the whiterun area.

I'm happy the way the trophy list is. If it was frustrating and filled with online trophies, the multiplayer would suck because you will have people playing just for the trophies and not enjoying game.

How long is the arcade mode? Seems like that could take a while for each character.

Since it's a fighting game, it should be the standard fighting game length, so 10 - 20 minutes each. It could be a lot longer, but given the fact we've heard so little about it... I would wager on standard fare.

Arcade Mode will be a story-based mode with a progression system. The story mode is very similar to traditional stories in other fighting games. What is then explained is that each character has their own story mode, progressing through the various other fighters of the game. Each character also has their own motivation for fighting in what sounds like a “All Stars tournament”, coming across rivals along the way, working up to a final boss.

Please remember that when Playstation games get add-on content, the trophy list is updated accordingly. So if there are character packs, then there will be trophies for them.

That's actually not true.

inFAMOUS 2 and God of War 3 got various DLC, but never got a new trophy for them. Also Starhawk had a lot of Multiplayer DLC, though they never added another trophy for that either. Even games with bigger DLC didn't get like, one such example is Resistance 3. Hell, it wasn't till much later that Uncharted 3 DLC got trophies (they originally never had any).

Sure some games get DLC trophies, but there is no rhyme / reason to what games get them. Many Sony games have nothing. Spelunker HD got 3 for every DLC pack. Borderlands 2 didn't add anything for the mechromancer (despite her being 10 dollars).

In the end, even if All Stars gets DLC characters, nothing says they will add trophies. Sure it's logical, but you can't assume given history says otherwise.

I agree. I didn't mean to say that so broadly, but yes in some cases you do get more trophies if the dlc warrants some and in this games case it would.

AW MAN..this is gonna be an easy platinum only because I love the game so much already..the 3x overtime seems to be the toughest one but Im sure it'll happen eventually...wish they had one for winning 100 ranked matches which I full intend to do.

me too but the beta is glitched.. every time a match goes to overtime i get disconnected in the last few second..
