5 franchises that should come to PS Vita

PS3 Attitude: "The recent release of LittleBigPlanet on PlayStation Vita has opened the floodgates for massive franchises to appear on the system, with the heavyweights of Assassin’s Creed and Call of Duty to follow very soon. The Vita could always do with more games though, so we’ve been discussing which franchises we’d most like to see on Sony’s fledgling handheld."

SandwichHammock4201d ago

Doom and Vita go hand in hand. ;)

TENTONGUN4201d ago

lol why do you want it to fail? thats cold

GribbleGrunger4201d ago (Edited 4200d ago )

I don't care if that was trolling, it deserves a bubble!

oh, come on you disagreers, it was funny

Godchild10204200d ago (Edited 4200d ago )

I only agreed because I found it funny. I think the Vita is far from being doomed, I have had it since day one and the downloadable titles have made the Vita worth it. Yes, I believe it needs more retail releases, but it's hard to deny the games it has had this month.

I was contemplating the use of /s. Should've gone with my gut I see.

TENTONGUN4201d ago

i see, went right over my head

rpd1234200d ago

Yeah I always think about that too. People might not get it without the /s and think you're a giant asshole. But I understood you were being sarcastic without it.

OhReginald4201d ago

skyrim would be definetly possible. If it happens I hope it gets developed properly knowing bethseda's track record.

erikthegman4201d ago

Fanboy goggles aside, Lost Odyssey would be beautiful on Vita

KMCROC4201d ago (Edited 4201d ago )

Do you really see this happening

a role-playing video game developed by Mistwalker and feelplus and published by Microsoft Game Studios (sound like it would be cool, but something tell me their will be a whole ton cash exchanging hands & demands on the developer to change it some what. if it happened)

stefhutch204201d ago

Yeah, Lost Odyssey on Vita is a nice idea, but I'm 99% sure the IP is owned by Microsoft.

I'm Replaying Skyrim (again), and So Should You

Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.

anast10d ago

I tried, but it's a poorly made game that insults its customers.

lucian22910d ago

nah, only mods make it decent, and even then it's bad, and this is after i modded for at least 3 years

Nittdarko10d ago

Funnily enough, I'm about to play it for the first time in VR with 1000 mods to make the game playable, as is the Bethesda way

The 7 Best Western RPGs: Immersive Adventures

RPGs are often huge, sprawling endeavours. With limited playtime, we have to choose wisely, so here's the best western RPGs available today.

SimpleSlave10d ago

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave10d ago (Edited 10d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
