The truth, how about any activity that is violent or aggressive in nature will stimulate the areas of the brain that make the person act more aggressively. Like contact sports, hunting ect. Funny how every single one of them isn't on trial for murder, rape, assault ect.

When someone can show me what video games hitler, stalin and ancient eygptians played, that turned them violent. I am all for it.

New personal observation(warning contains some human bias) violent video games will increase a individuals aggressiveness, just like any other form of violent stimuli will.

There are somethings that deserve serious scientific research, this is a thing that makes you question how much money is wasted on these ridiculous studies, that could be better spent elsewhere.

Humans have always been violent, likely always will be.

I have been playing violent video games since I was 5 years old when Mario started throwing turtles. I am currently 25 years old without any problems. Still playing violent video games. My study has shown no signs of increased aggression.

Always have to blame something, scapegoats are nothing new. I remember when I was younger and I'd use Myspace my folks would always act like it was some illicit thing, mainly because Liberal news would always end a story with "Underage girl gets molested with man she met on Myspace". If parent paid attention, we wouldn't see all of these problems.

I know spanking and punishing kids isn't the "hip" thing to do these days, but its clear that this generation is full of angry and annoying kids/teens.

Just because there is a correlation doesn't mean there is any proof of causality. I played a game and then went to the bathroom. Those two things happened sure but one didnt cause the other to happen in any way. Prove it was the games that caused aggression, it could easily be the aggression caused them to start to play the game as a form of an outlet etc.

The reality is that playing games is better they could be out joining gangs and doing dumb stuff for entertainment etc

Other studies say teenagers do not get more aggressive so who to belive? Been playing since I was 8 and now at a age of 34 I cant say it made me as a teenager or growing up any aggressive at all...

In fact it helped me in my childhood, instead of getting in to trouble all the time as many of my friends did I stayed home out of harms way.

And im sure games have infact saved my life as a adult, I suffer from really hard depression and when it all seams to fall appart I can escape in to all kinds of exciting worlds. Far away from any pain....
