Dishonored Review | Bit Tech

Joe Martin: "I want to be careful not to get caught up in hyperbole; I don't want to make promises that Dishonored can't keep and I don't want to go off on indulgent tangents or speak in blithe internet memes.

But Dishonored might be one of the best games I've played in the last ten years and, if you want to cut a long story short, you should know that I'm going to finish this article by telling you to buy it."

AAA title for sure. Never doubted it, but at the same time never prioritized it. I need to buy this ASAP.

I'm going to be honest, after I submitted the first screen to N4G a while back and had read about the talent behind it I ignored it. I knew I was getting it.

I found out it was open world yesterday.

I think that means i'm going to be in for a real treat considering the high pedestal on which I place Thief and Deus Ex.

I can't wait. This is the game we needed. One that brings with it the sensibilities of a seemingly forgotten, golden era of PC gaming.

Yes, loving the reviews!! I can't believe I didn't preorder this game, but will buy it soon. From all the acclaim I'm assuming its a contender for Game of the Year!!

It felt kinda cheap to me… both in terms as a tactic, and game design

Abnor_Mal430d ago (Edited 430d ago )

There was a small game called Aragami that “borrowed” the blink, that was a good game.

Unfortunately I heard the sequel wasn’t good so I stayed away from trying it out.

The sequel changed some of the mechanics from the first game but it was still a very polished and enjoyable experience. You should definitely give it a shot sometime. The game's currently on sale on Steam

Okay thanks for the heads up, will look out for it being on sale one day.

I really did like the first and played it back to back as soon as I finished the first play through.
