Borderlands 2 Golden Keys Find a New Home On Official Gearbox Twitter Feed

Heads up, Vault Hunters. Borderlands players who normally check CEO Randy Pitchford’s twitter for golden keys will want to check the official Gearbox twitter instead.

I only had one & saved it for the final mission & was very happily surpised with the assult riffle i got :) Cant remember full specs but it did an assinine ammount of curosion dammage which was perfect for the final mission :)

i started out with 3 keys used 2 at the same time yeh dumb of me but i saved one now i have this and i will try to get the next 2-3 so i can have 3-4

the weapons i got are awesome all Pink color rare weapons. Hoping for a extra rare orange weapon

for anyone starting now don't use your keys till you are atleast level 30 or above. The higher your level the better loot you will get

FYI - the box will always, and only, produce Purple rare items. It will not drop an Orange ever. The weapons roll at whatever level you are, so higher level = better Purple, but that's all it effects. Still, good luck and keep them until 50 if you can! :)

yeh now i have 2 so i may use one at 40 than once after i max it out. will these weapons carry on if a start a totally new game?

There are pink weapons and purple rarity weapons. Two different shades.

Pink just means they are Eridium weapons it does NOT mean they are better BTW. Some of the eridium SMGs are great up close but long distance they suck horribly as they fire outwards in a triangular pattern. Purple are none Eridium. So don't make the same mistake as me and sell all your purple and just keep pink thinking they better than find out your pink weapons suck lol.

So basicly if you live in the UK most people will always miss the codes because you'll be out at college or school

I mean I know there going to have differnt codes for differnt time zones but when they did the test it was always when most of us were at school/college...1-3 for example

They'll have new codes at 5am, 11am, and 3PM Central time on Saturday (today). In the UK that would be 11am, 5pm, and 8pm Saturday.

gameinformer is posting the codes every time they come in. Just used the last one and it worked. Start stocking up on keys folks

Not sure how long this will last...The Gearbox twitter didn't have the 11AM codes listed for some reason. Had to look elsewhere.
